What an AMAAAZZIIIINNNNNGGGG place to be! So basically you get yourself a car from Tashkent and travel till the concrete road. You need to hire local cab guy with their shabby mountain range rovers (25 usd for the entire day). They will take you till the bottom of the LAKE 1. The water is amazingly tasty their. And then there is joke of about 90-100 minutes. The trail is full of rocks and steep valley in the side so please wear nice shoes and get the gears right. The mountain will make tired before you reach the turquoise colored lake… JUMP inside the water.. Don’t forget to take your BBQ as it must be the most excellent place for camping. Immerse yourself in the beauty of the most desirable… Get yourself in Dhaba on a way to return and hog over Shashlik Kebab, Shorpa, Shushma, Non and Juices…...

The hardest part about this walk is actually getting to the start of the walk by car: the mud road is rudimentary and full of potholes and sharp stones. Although we managed with a classic FWD car, we absolutely recommend a 4x4 all terrain vehicule as this will make the trip significantly more comfortable.
Once you arrive at the start of the path, a police/military checkpoint will ask for your passport and a fee (remember that you are close to the Kazakh border). From there on, theroute is pretty straightforward.

It takes about 20 minutes to walk along the path through the mountain to the second lake, but the water in it is not transparent, so it does not look as impressive as the first.
