Have you ever wanted to climb into an aquarium? That’s exactly what Jackie’s Blue Hole (also called Nanda Blue Hole) feels like. It’s deep cerulean blue with multiple types of fish seemingly suspended watching you, watching them. Around the edges green plants grow, their roots and tendrils dripping into the water. Silky moss floats past in tiny green clouds as you swim against the underground water current coming from deep (maybe 8 metres) below. Having this place to ourselves this morning felt pretty magical, totally worth the 1000VT you pay to the traditional owners. The local Ni-Vanuatu people have built decks, seating, ladders and steps into the water, plus change rooms and nice clean toilets. Oh and there...

Nanda Blue Hole is an amazing natural wonder not to be missed on your trip to Santo. The clearness and blue colour of the water is amazing. Definitely take your waterproof camera! The owners are genuinely interested in your enjoyment of the experience. We were also offered free unlimited fresh coconut water straight out of the shell. The other blue holes can be cloudy so make Nanda your number one choice. We found all the family who run/own Nanda very friendly and accommodating. There's a cafe on site offering good simple food and awesome local...

Probably the nicest of the three blue holes in the area, Nanda Blue Hole can be found at the top of Turtle Bay, Espiritu Santo. It offers stunning insights into ice-clear blueish fresh water amidst lush tropical vegetation. The water temperature is refreshing, indeed. The visibility is fantastic and snorkeling around the big pool you can see plenty of fresh water fish surrounding you. The local families take good care...

It great but it’s expensive (1000vt per person). The clearest water I’ve ever seen with a lot of fish to see. You can easily stay 2h ; there is a small restaurant, and some chill areas next to the blue hole. I still recommend to go for it, even if it’s the most expensive blue hole in the country.
