Nanda Blue Hole — Attraction in Sanma

Have you ever wanted to climb into an aquarium? That’s exactly what Jackie’s Blue Hole (also called Nanda Blue Hole) feels like. It’s deep cerulean blue with multiple types of fish seemingly suspended watching you, watching them. Around the edges green plants grow, their roots and tendrils dripping into the water. Silky moss floats past in tiny green clouds as you swim against the underground water current coming from deep (maybe 8 metres) below. Nanda Blue Hole is an amazing natural wonder not to be missed on your trip to Santo. The clearness and blue colour of the water is amazing. Definitely take your waterproof camera! The owners are genuinely interested in your enjoyment of the experience. We were also offered free unlimited fresh coconut water straight out of the shell. Probably the nicest of the three blue holes in the area, Nanda Blue Hole can be found at the top of Turtle Bay, Espiritu Santo. It offers stunning insights into ice-clear blueish fresh water amidst lush tropical vegetation. The water temperature is refreshing, indeed.
