Club Hippique Adventure Park — Attraction in Shefa Province

We were really excited for this part of our tour and it really disappointed.

We went out in a large group and my horse didn’t seem right - I then got put the back of the group with the guides saying my horse needed to be at the back because it was aggressive and kicked other horses. I asked if the horse was okay to be ridden and the guides sort of laughed and said yes but he’s aggressive. It didn’t make me feel comfortable at all.

The horse felt really unsteady to be on and I then had to be guided with one of the guides to feel a bit more comfortable and so let them take control.

Don’t ride the white horse named pepper - apparently meant for experienced riders as it is older.

We then tried to go swimming with them and even another horse clearly didn’t want to and tried to throw me off.

Ultimately, it wasn’t the experience we had imagined. I think this is the perfect example of an expectation v reality moment. I also feel quite guilty as the horses seem overworked and clearly don’t want to be doing this. It wasn’t my horses fault.

The woman at reception was very kind at trying to sort things out but it didn’t go our way.

I’m leaving 2 star because I believe with some improvements, this could be a nice experience. But the horses need to rest in between taking tourists out and be more well...

We lived in Port Vila for some years. I have reserved a space 3 weeks in advance to celebrate my son's 10th birthday. Asking the person in charge if we would have enough space because he had a catering service booked for that day, they assured me that it would be perfect. I have also included a horse ride for the 9 children, which we scheduled for 2 pm. The 2nd of December arrived, the place was full, knowing that it is the end of the year and companies reserve the place. The problem is that they overcrowded the place, they don't have space, no one give me any solution, finally some priests agreed to leave a space to celebrate the birthday. An annoying situation for us, also there were no filters, next to us there was a group completely drunk, and no one controlled the place, knowing that there were children, they threw beer bottles at each other. And to finish our celebration, the horses that they had promised to have ready at 2 p.m. were not there, we had to wait 1 hour for them to arrive for a horse riding that would last 45 minutes and only lasted 15 minutes. Don't waste your time or money! I wish I didn't even have to give it 1 star it is that bad! My experience here was the worst of my entire life!! I booked a full day PRIVATE tour with my husband and it was absolutely terrible! Our guide didn't even speak English, the entire trip was awkward, we did NOTHING as described on the website when we booked and the guide was careless with us being first time riders. I had such a bad time that I had to hold back tears, that's how disappointed I was. We even spoke to the manager on site at the end of tour and she was apologetic and rang the owner. The owner promised us a refund (half our money back) even though the entire day was wasted, however we have not even received our refund. Be cautious with this place! They lie and make false promises. This place is a scam to tourists. I even spoke with several other people who were visiting off a cruise ship and they all said they had a terrible experience and would never recommend this place to anyone. Please do yourself a favour and don't waste your time...
