This is the main waterfall that tourists and visitors alike mostly visit as it's probably the easiest to reach from Buon Ma Thuot. Taking the main road out from Buon Ma Thuot and taking a sealed turn off, the distance is a little under 30km. Unlike most other waterfalls in the region Thac Dray Sap site is established with sealed roads all the way and a constructed car park and entrance area. There's even an electric tram cart to reach the falls if you don't feel like hiking to them. Thus it attracts more visitors because of the infrastructure. However, it does have an entrance fee of 80k which I thought was reasonable (a lot of other reviewers tend to disagree???). I opted out of the tram and decided to walk with my pet dog (who was allowed to enter) to the base of the falls and then further up to the top section of the falls. The steps and tracks are a bit degraded and rough in sections, with some parts damaged from previous excessive water overflows, but manageable nonetheless. Though, I found the track was a better choice as you get to see more of the downstream river that flows from the waterfall and more of the natural scenery. Even some smaller waterfalls that seep and flow down from the rocky cliffs. Upon my visit the falls had enough water to be visually appealing but it would have been far better if there was more volume flowing over the falls....but that's nature for you. The only thing that really spoilt the experience was the small amounts of rubbish carelessly discarded on both the land and in the water. (That's SE Asia for you....throwing rubbish in designated bins is just a mere suggestion, and heaven forbid people actually taking it away with to discard appropriately at a later date in the correct place!) The top area of the waterfalls is much more established with lookout platforms, swimming areas (even a few small water slides for kids), several gazebos (pavilions) with seating and tables, many scattered animal statues and outlets to buy drinks and snacks. I also saw an enclosure with some captive Ostriches....unknown why they think this was necessary? The other waterfall site nearby, Thac Dray Nur, can be accessed from this site via two suspension bridges, but I didn't have time to explore further. I had been lucky and adventurous enough to experience many of the free, more remote and wild waterfalls within the region, so I visited this one last. However, I was still impressed by it, even though it is a more dedicated tourism site. If you are pressed for time, or do not have your own transport to go exploring, or are a family with small children, then this would be the waterfall I'd...

Unleash the majesty of Dray Sap Waterfall!

The trek from the entrance might seem daunting, but the reward is waiting for you - A breathtaking two-tiered waterfall that will leave you speechless. You can take the stairs to the upper level to have an overview of this waterfall. In additional, you can hop on a rubber boat to navigate the cool waters beneath the falls. It's an experience you won't forget! And for the little explorers, a charming zoo awaits right at the entrance. They'll be mesmerized the local wildlife.

From here, you can drive few kilometers to visit Gia Long waterfall, another wild and pristin waterfall.

Along the way from Dray Sap to Gia Long, you can visit a volcano cave if you ride motorbike, around 3 kms of...

Very beautiful waterfall! Quite a big one but smaller than the Ban Gioc one. 30k/person for ticket, 10k for bike parking. The water is very clean and clear, you can swim in some parts of the waterfall as well! So make sure bringing extra clothes for swimming. Don't forget to visit Dray Nur waterfall from here. Just crossing the bridge, walk about 10 minutes to see another beautiful waterfall. Must try! (-) the road lead to here from Buon Me Thuot is under construction, very difficult to get to. We visited this place in May 2022. Be aware of this. Should ask the local for alternative road in case you can't...
