Have you heard of Sun World in Ba Na hills, Vietnam? It’s located about 25km inland from Danang. Once you arrive you have to catch a cancel car to the top of the mountain. The views are breathtaking and the infrastructure is impressive. It’s not a cheap day with tickets for 2 adults and 1 child costing $153 AUD but we did spend 7 hours exploring. 🚩Save this post for future Vietnam planning . . . #vietnam #sunworld #banahills #visitvietnam #touristinfo #traveltips #travellife #travelreel #seetheworld #explore #travelfamily #travelwithkids #vietnamwithkids #holidayswithkids

Ba Na Hills SunWorld is truly one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to Vietnam. Located about 45 minutes from Da Nang, Ba Na Hills offers a unique blend of natural beauty, cultural charm, and thrilling attractions, making it a perfect destination for families, adventure lovers, and anyone seeking a stunning escape. The highlight of Ba Na Hills is undoubtedly the Golden Bridge, a breathtaking structure held up by two giant stone hands. The bridge’s design is awe-inspiring, and it provides a perfect spot for taking iconic photos with views of the surrounding mountains, valleys, and forests. Walking across the Golden Bridge feels surreal—it’s as if you’re floating among the clouds, with mist rolling in from the hills. The bridge is also located at an altitude of over 1,400 meters, offering a cool breeze and incredible views, which made it a refreshing escape from the heat of the city below. One of the most exciting parts of the experience was the Ba Na Hills Cable Car ride, which holds the world record for the longest non-stop cable car ride at over 5,800 meters. The cable car is an attraction in itself—gliding smoothly over lush green forests and dramatic mountains. The ride gave us spectacular views of the landscape below, and the ascent into the clouds was magical. At the top, the temperature was much cooler, and the mist added to the enchanting atmosphere. Once we arrived at the top, there was so much to explore. The French Village was like stepping into a European fairy tale. With its cobblestone streets, charming architecture, and quaint buildings, it felt like we had been transported to a little piece of France in the middle of Vietnam. The village has a variety of shops, cafes, and restaurants where you can relax and enjoy some delicious food or a warm drink. There are also plenty of photo opportunities in this area, with the European-style buildings providing a beautiful backdrop. For those seeking more adventure, Fantasy Park is a must-visit. This giant indoor amusement park offers a wide range of rides and activities, including a roller coaster, 3D cinemas, and a variety of games and attractions suitable for all ages. Whether you’re into thrill rides or looking for family-friendly fun, there’s something for everyone in Fantasy Park. The park also has a giant indoor gaming area and an interactive space for kids to play, making it a great place to spend a few hours, especially for families with children. Another great part of the visit was the Linh Ung Pagoda, a peaceful Buddhist site located at the summit. The massive Lady Buddha statue, standing at over 30 meters tall, is an awe-inspiring sight. The pagoda is a tranquil escape, providing a spiritual experience amidst the bustling attractions. We took some time to walk around, enjoy the serene atmosphere, and reflect on the beautiful surroundings. The overall experience at Ba Na Hills was like a perfect blend of nature, culture, and entertainment. The combination of the lush mountains, the European-inspired village, the thrilling amusement park, and the cultural sites made it an unforgettable adventure. Whether you’re there for the incredible views, the fascinating architecture, or the fun attractions, Ba Na Hills offers something for everyone.

We absolutely enjoyed ourselves. Tickets were 950,000VND per person, we bought ours at a location on the way and paid a 3% charge because we used a card to pay as opposed to cash. It’s not necessary to buy the ticket beforehand if you’re arriving early as there won’t be a queue Bring some cash for the rides that aren’t included in the ticket price if you plan to get on any and for quick snacks. Food is allowed so you can pack your own water and snacks. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing, there’s a lot of walking. -Detailed experience- We took a Grab there and were able to get tickets along the way. We thought it would be very full as other reviews had suggested but it wasn’t. If you’re going to arrive around 08:00, you can just get your tickets at Ba Na Hills instead of pre-booking or buying them on the way. There were no people in the queue at all. This was on a Saturday morning at 08:09. The cable ride was fun, we had all cable car rides to ourselves almost every time (there was one ride where we shared it with someone else). We went to the bridge first(be careful with hats and caps, it gets extremely windy there), the gardens and then when it got busy around 10:00, we went to the next location (French quarter or something where there is an indoor amusement park). There’s a lot of walking, I’d suggest you wear comfortable shoes and clothing. We then got on all the rides outside, most are inclusive and those that aren’t were between 70,000-100,000VND per person(we paid in cash - they don’t take cards but I think they had that scan to pay thing). There are more rides inside. We got on every single ride there was inside (as long as it wasn’t exclusively for kids). They have a 4D, 5D and 360 cinema, we tried them all. Would highly recommend. With the 360 cinema, we were the only ones in there, so 2 people and it was rather exciting. They have a gaming area where you don’t need tokens to play, a dinosaur museum and other attractions. They have carnival games where you pay a fee and try to win a prize. Most were around 100,000VND. Took a break and ate at Rosa Fried Chicken which was okay. The food was okay but the drinks were disappointing. The orange juice was a premix or a concentrate that was diluted and the milk tea with jelly was sadly the worst I’ve had in Vietnam. We also watched some dancers perform then we went back to the bridge around 17:15, it was empty, with a few people here and there. We went to the Buddha at this time and it was also empty. All in all, definitely worth the price. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There’s something for everyone, definitely worth it.
