Suoi Do Pagoda — Attraction in Khánh Hòa Province

Worth going. Hidden place. Need to hire a druver to go. We manage to get a Mah Linh driver for return trip VND800.000. He will wait for us. Parking will be VND20.000.

We bring our incense along. Suggested to bring more as there were many goddess to be worshipped. Get ready for stair climbs. Wear comfortable shoe and attire. Sweating a lot but the scenery is great. Windy too.

A bit like temple on the mountain. There were two side to visit. Higher up with a sleeping buddha. Lower has more people worshipping during our visit. Not many tourist seen much here except locals.

The locals wear the ao dai, traditional clothing and heel up there. Saluting them.

Beautiful trip to the temple and completely worth going by motorbike BUT woman please be warned. I was sexually assaulted by a man dressed in temple clothing. He convinced my boyfriend and I to make an offering and then brought me alone behind a statue. He motioned for me to touch the statue and then touch my body in a religious manner and then he touched my stomach and lower body. Confused I sort of went along until my boyfriend arrived and he stopped. He didn't stop following us and touching me even though we told him to go away many times. To get to this temple, you will have to travel to the outskirts of Nha Trang. The journey itself is an adventure. We passed by local villages, padi fields stretching to the horizon and an old railroad track. It was another wet morning but the drizzle did nothing to dampen our spirits. We also have to walk a long flight of stairs in order to reach the temple. Lush greenery and small waterfalls accompanied us throughout our journey.
