The bungalow is incredibly damp. When I got there even my bed was damp and there was a damp smell everywhere. You should use a dehumidifier inside. Otherwise I have no complaints about the accommodation itself. There is also a slippery path to the bungalow itself, change it to something else before someone breaks something.
What just pissed me off was the terrible service, starting from the food in the restaurant, ending with paid water in the room! 20,000 dong for a 0.5 bottle of water. It's not even the prices that outrage me, but the fact that such a place does not have simply free drinking water, do you have some kind of aversion to water purifiers? Or do you just like to litter where you live? STOP PRODUCING PLASTIC!!!!!! PUT A STAND WITH A WATER PURIFIER IN...
Read moreMy visit to Sapa Heaven Gate was truly a pleasant experience, even though the weather was cloudy during my time there. The serene atmosphere and the feeling of being surrounded by mist added a unique charm to the experience, making it feel like stepping into another world.
While I couldn’t fully see the majestic mountains beyond due to the clouds, the peaceful vibe and beauty of the area still made it worth the trip. It’s a place that captures the heart with its tranquility, and I can only imagine how breathtaking the view must be on a clear day.
I’m already looking forward to returning during a non-cloudy season to fully take in the panoramic mountain views. Sapa Heaven Gate is a must-visit, whether for its mystical allure in the mist or its stunning vistas on...
Read moreWent to Fairy Valley instead of Heaven Gate. They are located just right beside one another. Bought the tickets on the spot and the staff were very helpful in sharing with us the different bundles they have. They even had a buggy that took us around the place so we did not have to walk on our own. Would not recommend getting your tickets in advance if you want to try the different activities as the prices are pretty competitive with their bundles. Many attractions here are similar to those which you will find in Sapa. Such as the Lonely Tree (Further down along O Quy Ho Pass), Heaven Gate (Which can also be found in Moana Sapa), and waterfalls. Overall It was a great and interesting experience but would not say it is a must visit while in...
