Park Dong Xanh — Attraction in Pleiku

Let me tell you about Park Dong Xanh – it was a real surprise! I wasn't sure what to expect, but it ended up being a delightful mix of culture, nature, and a bit of unexpected history.

The park itself is beautiful. It's nestled amongst these green rice fields just outside of Pleiku, and there's a real sense of peace walking around the grounds. They have these amazing miniature mountains and a lotus lake, which sounds cheesy, but it's actually very calming.

The highlight for me though, was definitely the traditional Central Highlands architecture. They have these stunning communal houses (nha rong) and these incredible statues replicating tombs. It gives you a real glimpse into the daily life of the ethnic minorities in the area.

One thing that totally caught me off guard was this massive fossilized tree they had on display. Apparently, it's the biggest in all of Vietnam, and it's over a million years old! It just puts everything in perspective, you know?

Overall, Park Dong Xanh is a hidden gem. It's a great place to relax, learn a bit about the local culture, and maybe even have your mind blown by a giant fossil. Just be aware, it closes a little early at 5:15 pm, so plan your visit...

Went here a bit late before sunset. The place is a bit old and run down. Ticket price is only 40.000d per person. Ticket lady said we could stay as late as we want. Lots of interesting things to see. It feels like an abandoned amusement park. The rides look like they've seen better days and are unusable. The crocodile area looks pretty depressing. It got very dark and there weren't any lights to help you navigate. Also no one said what time they were closing. When we tried to exit an old man on a motorbike came and yelled at us because he had locked the gates and had to open it up for us. No one told us when they closed. Old man didn't have to yell at us for a mistake.

Pros: cheap and interesting stuff to see. Lots of abandoned and forgotten things to look at.

Khu du lịch Đồng Xanh là một quần thể vui chơi, nhà hàng, quầy lưu niệm và công viên sinh thái. Phù hợp cho việc tổ chức các hội nghị, tiệc gala và các hoạt động sinh hoạt ngoài trời. Đi tiếp vào bên trong, du khách sẽ bắt gặp một hệ thống nhà nghỉ được xây dựng bên hồ cá, vườn hoa để phục vụ nhu cầu muốn ở lại qua đêm, công viên nước và hồ tạo sóng đầu tiên ở Tây Nguyên, hồ sen với những hòn non bộ được xếp đặt rất đẹp, một khu vườn với rất nhiều muông thú như: đà điểu, nai, beo, gấu, cá sấu... Đặc biệt, đi giữa khu Đồng Xanh đầy kỳ hoa dị thảo này, bạn sẽ nhìn thấy cây cổ thụ hóa thạch hơn 1 triệu năm tuổi và một số công trình kiến trúc khác mang đậm màu sắc Tây Nguyên.

Bên cạnh đó, du khách còn từng bước được tìm hiểu và khám phá những nét độc đáo pha chút huyền bí của văn hóa Tây Nguyên qua mô hình kiến trúc nhà mồ, nhà rông, nhà dài kết hợp với những hoa văn, họa tiết cùng tiếng nhạc của các bản làng người dân tộc như: tiếng đàn T’rưng nước, tiếng cối giã gạo,...
