There's king fishers, comerants, a variety of storks, and many other birds I don't know the name for. Best time to visit is before 8am and around 5pm. There's a restaurant located where the boats are. I didn't eat, as I had only just had lunch at a local fruit farm along the way.

The nature and tranquility is beautiful and since I visited during a week day, I more or less had the place to my self. The boat will stop at a small area further in the wetlands where you can get out and look at the rice fields and grab a drink. The drink seller is a friendly grandma who makes the most delicious banana chips ever! She generously shared her recipe and techniques. So crunchy, hint of ginger and slightly sweet. I bought 3 bags for my family to try back in Saigon.

It's a nice location for those who love outdoor activities and the nature. It takes about 45 minutes to travel from downtown Cần Thơ city. I think the best time of the day to visit this forest is about 3 p.m when we might see some birds sitting on top of the trees from a distance. The entrance fee is 100.000VND per person(May 2025), it's included the journey through the forest with a long flatboat equipped with an engine at the back. The flatboat will stop on the way for photo lovers and then bring you to the high tower where you can go on the top to view the whole forest and a very tranquil rice paddy field...

Nature lovers will find this place quite charming. We particularly enjoyed the boat tour, which offered a unique perspective of the surroundings. Climbing the central tower is a must for breathtaking panoramic views of the entire area – perfect for photos! Feeding the fish was also a fun and interactive experience.
