The history of the site is very interesting and the guide is quite informed of the facts - and theories - of the crash. However, they are missing an opportunity by not providing literature or souvenirs of the site for sale by visitors. Also, there is not place on site to purchase food or drink even though local Rotary Clubs have provided picnic tables for anyone wanting to bring their own lunch and drinks. Again, a missed opportunity to make the site...

It is always good to learn about events that have happened in our communities, towns, cities and country as a whole. It is very important to know the history thereof. The Dag Hammarskjoed site presents us with such an opportunity. It was very enlightening to listen to the passionate presentation of what might have happened from our tour guide. It gets to be emotional at some point but yes, we all need to see and hear about it...
