This is the biggest water falls in North-western Province of Zambia. It’s beautiful but getting there is a pain. The road is in a deplorable state. It’s a place worth visiting if you are doing some other business in the area. It’s located 15KM off the Solwezi - Mwinilunga road about 80KM before Mwinilunga. I am told it’s even more spectacular during the rain season. So, if you ever find yourself in North-western Province, check out Nyambwezu Falls!

The road to the Falls is not in the greatest condition and a 4x4 vehicle is required but it's definitely worth the time to see. Getting to the best viewing point at the base of the Falls can be tricky as there is no proper stairs and the wet rocks are slippery. Being sure footed and cautious is advised.

A most lovely place. Well hidden within the reserves of nature but an absolutely astonishing site. Be sure to have a guide when you get there. The local folk are always happy to help, of course and for a small fee.
