So, as a part of the honeymoon I shared with my beautiful wife. We visited the Livingstone Crocodile Farm. We even got to be there for feeding time! There were turtles and snakes, but they weren't the big draw. Even though we did spend some time getting to know them. But the big draw was the crocodiles, there were even tiny baby ones, making it very hard for me to imagine how they grow into giant reptiles, unchanged for 70-million years. I would also like to register my amazement that they called one of their...

The tour guides are very professional. They give a great overview of the things you need to know. A plus is that they have snake as well. You get to see and learn about learn about them. And if you have no phobia, you might get to touch the harmless ones. The Crocs, a marvel if you have never seen Crocs up close. Also, they have turtles and chameleons. I'd recommend adding the crocodile park visit to the activities to the top 10 things to do in...

I generally dislike zoos or places with captive animals. However, Livingstone Crocodile Park also serves to protect the public (and the animal) by removing "man-killers" from the community. This one good step toward human/animal conflict. The guides are very knowledgeable of the area and of each individual croc. Great learning experience. Today's price: K100 for locals, $10...
