It would help if:

most trees were actually labeled as opposed to just having number tags.

Maintenance The place needs to be maintained. Most facilities are just so gone dilapidated would be a waste of a word. It has potential to be really fun to explore if its resurrected.

Navigation Add walking trails for better navigation that help indicate where you are relative to your surroundings. It's easy to miss out on a lot when all you have to rely on is aimlessly wondering because you are not even sure which parts you have covered and which you haven't. mukuvisi woodlands are suspects too 😩😂 but give a close idea on navigation.

Otherwise other than that, the nature is beautiful! You could wonder about for days and still enjoy the tree diversity.

I would recommend the nature lovers to try it out regardless of the drawbacks...

It's great for walking if you need some exercise and a country feel in town without going far. As far as flowers and other interesting plant life goes that has pretty much all gone and it's now just a urban bush with grassy patches and an empty lake. But you still have to pay to go in for you, your car and your dog. Why you have to pay to park makes no sense to me. But clearly the money is not being used for the park which just looks like a large abandoned bushy area now. Lots of lovely...

Fun day at "KITE FOR PEACE".

The Botanical Garden, however needs to put more in the maintaining the public toilets. The men's toilets where out of order and therefore had to use the womens, which had no running water and toilets did not flush. The grounds had plenty of holes and I witnessed a child's leg get caught in one. Luckily she did break her angle, worst still her leg. The management of the gardens needs to look at these hazards next time they rent out...

Always such a peaceful time at the gardens, lots of greenery and space. One of my favorite go-to place for picnics and nature walks. A lot more can be done to maintain the gardens though, particularly watering the grass. However, kudos to there for restoring the restaurant that at some point was closed. I recommend as venue for large events, also really good for photoshoots and school trips. Entrance fee is very reasonable

Very interesting plants and trees, good walk overall. The facilities were on the decline apart from the toilets, all else was closed. Not very good signposting of the paths in the gardens either. $2 per person entry ticket. Overall a beautiful place that needs more love to flourish.
