Mutarazi Falls: Breathtaking Views, But Prepare for the Journey. Leave early. Depending with your vehicle it can take you 2hrs from the tarred/paved road to get there.

Mutarazi Falls is truly one of Zimbabwe’s hidden gems. The sheer beauty of the falls and the surrounding Nyanga scenery is absolutely worth the visit. The view from the edge of the falls is nothing short of majestic — a must-see for nature lovers and adventurers alike.

However, a word of caution: the road leading to Mutarazi Falls is extremely treacherous. Once you leave the tarred road, the journey becomes rough and unforgiving. The gravel road is riddled with numerous water drainage humps, and some are so high and abrupt that they can easily damage a low-clearance vehicle. I strongly advise against using a low car — a 4x4 or at least a high-clearance vehicle is highly recommended for a safe and comfortable trip.

Also, keep in mind that there are no shops, food outlets, or fuel stations once you leave the main road. Pack your own lunch, snacks, and carry a cooler box with plenty of water and drinks — especially if you're planning to stay for a few hours and explore the area.

The bathrooms are also not very clean. I highly recommend using the bathrooms by the security gate.

Despite the challenging drive, Mutarazi Falls is an unforgettable experience, and I’d highly recommend it for anyone looking to take in some of Zimbabwe’s finest natural wonders. Just be well-prepared — both your vehicle and...

The Mutarazi Falls Skywalk and Skyline is a thrilling adventure you won't want to miss! Located in the stunning Eastern Highlands of Zimbabwe, this experience combines the beauty of nature with a unique adrenaline rush, making it one of the best attractions in the region.

The Skywalk was breathtaking – walking across suspended bridges over Zimbabwe's tallest waterfall is both exhilarating and awe-inspiring. The views of the falls and the surrounding lush valleys are absolutely stunning, providing a unique perspective that makes you appreciate the grandeur of the landscape. It's also a fantastic spot for photos!

For an extra thrill, the Skyline zipline is a must-try. Flying over the gorge and taking in panoramic views as you zip across was an unforgettable experience. The staff is professional and safety-conscious, which made me feel completely at ease throughout the adventure. They’re also very friendly and informative, making sure you get the most out of your visit.

Whether you're an adventure seeker or just love natural beauty, the Mutarazi Falls Skywalk and Skyline offer an amazing blend of both. It’s perfect for anyone visiting Nyanga and looking to add some excitement to their trip. I highly recommend this experience for all ages. It’s a once in a lifetime adventure you...

Ok so if u r going here, u don't really see the full potential of the sights unless you do the skywalk! A lovely forest walk takes you down to the booking office where you see and hear the top of the falls cascading over rocks. We decided to pay for the skywalk and boy, what a sight it was!! And an experience. Suspended some 380m above the rapidly dropping falls, mist closing around the edges of the cliffs, and u overlook the Honde Valley into the distance towards Mozambique - it is truly quite magnificent! The suspension bridge is something else - we were decked out in safety harness and clipped onto a strong wire suspended above our heads on our walk across. The falls disappear right under your feet and we are suspended over the huge drop down - just amazing! We walked over the higher shorter walk then made our way down to the longer lower one to get back across. Quite an adventure- and I am scared of heights so my legs...

Breathtaking. I think the best time to visit the falls would be around March, just after the rain season. If you are an adrenalime junkie, you may want to have a go at the zipline and the Skywalk. Believe me, the view is beautiful from up there. However be prepared to part with about $40 for the skywalk and $60 for the zipline (August 2018). Please note that prices vary from time to time No sandals please. Put on some running shoes for easy movement. Usually when you make a booking, they may tell you that the roads are not that bad, 4x4 vehicles are not mandatory and that you may use your sedan. But i tell you, the terrain is very difficult to negotiate with a small car. If you love your E-class please leave it at home. Also whether you are going to the falls or Far and wide, the signage is very poor. So stay very much alert.
