Read moreThe Eastern Highlands are beautiful to explore. We found Nyanga NP to be more difficult to visit. Notable sites (waterfall, viewpoints, fort) are spread out on fairly rough roads. We drove 16 km (45 mins) to the main waterfall site to be told it was $30 for two of us to enter, $10 each plus $10 for our vehicle (and you have to pay for your car, cannot walk in). Since we travel on a budget and choose carefully which attractions we pay for we did not go in. The general area had active loggging/forestry going on so it did not seem like a nature experience. We were also told that hiking in the main area of the park required a paid guide. Overall seemed an expensive NP for what was being offered.. The area is beautiful and we were able to walk and drive outside the park and enjoy the...

It's best to carry ones own food to the park because the tuckshop doesnt anything more than...
