We recently went on a hill hiking experience at Domboshava Caves. We had a great time exploring the trails and taking in the views. The hills were not too challenging, making it a great option for families with young children or people who are not used to hiking.

We started our hike at the trailhead, we started at the interactive centre which spoon fed us with a lot of history getting us all excited about the caves. The adrenaline rush was just too much The trail was well-maintained and easy to follow. Shout-out to the team for installing waste bins along the trail. We passed by several scenic overlooks along the way, which offered magnificent views of the surrounding area.

I took us about 45minute to reach the top of the hill and the beacon. The view from the top of the hill was amazing. We got to see the whole of Dambashava and Zimbabwe has a lot of land. #Blessed Nation.

The hike down was just as easy as the hike up. Got to see a small pool

The hike was fun and boy, did we not miss the turn to the Caves. I can say, there signs were not clearly marked, or it was just us being us.We were excited to see the caves, but we soon realized that we were lost. Well, we only realized we missed the turn to the caves when we were at the top 😂.

We may have missed the caves, but we got some amazing sunset photos! The sky was ablaze with color, and the clouds were painted like a watercolor painting. It was truly a...

The big rock looks at you disdainfully as if daring you to climb it’s back! Yet you cannot resist the regal and majestic look it poses against a typical Africa background! I went with work colleagues and the outing was rewarding both individually and as a team! Loved climbing the steep slopes and reconnecting with my heritage with our knowledgeable tour guide Taurai! For an exciting and fulfilling yet relaxing experience I recommend a visit...

I need to sigh first before I start! It’s perfect for groups, friends, couples, or even just by yourself. I went alone and honestly I could do it over and over and oooover again! Had to leave just before the sunset but I did spy it and I think it’s true that it’s one of the best places on the continent for such views. An insanely...
