We went on October 3 last week and it was summer time so the bushes and trees were all dried. We took an early morning slot to escape the scorching heat. It was a good decision considering the summer heat. We were the only ones for Game drive in our vehicle and our guide was good and informative. He would stop as soon as he found a sighting and it's remarkable how they can drive as well be aware of the wildlife movements. It was a 3 hr drive and well worth it. We saw herds of elephants, zebras, Impala, guinea fowl, waterhog,...

The park is beautiful, and I could see some animals (elephants, giraffes, gazelles, birds, hyenas, zebras, baboons, etc). However, early morning in July was very, very cold! Apparently, having a game drive in late afternoon would be better because it's when the animals come to drink water. I would have loved to stay longer in the park because we only saw animals at the end of the safari.

Different experience all together. If you start your game drive at the right time which is early morning or late evening (& night time is best) then you have high chance of seeing all the species present in the jungle. We were lucky to see Hyna, Fox and the lioness hunt. Elephants are plenty. My advice would be experience the night safari it's an thrilling experience.
