Wave Beachfront Apartments — Hotel in Bashkia Durrës

When I booked these apartments online, I thought I'd found a bargain. Turns out you get what you pay for! For context, I would normally stay in 4 star hotels/ apartments. The best thing about the apartments is their location. They are literally right by the beach and many restaurants are walking distance. However, the flats are quite outdated and we had several issues. Firstly, we booked 4 apartments on booking.com but it turns out that the apartments were not all the same (apparently 2 were upgraded but I think we were just given whatever was available). 2 out of 4 of the bathrooms had issues with the showers. The flats had been cleaned but they weren't cleaned to a 5-star quality, the cleaning was basic. One of the rooms had so many problems that we had to get it switched -the owners did kindly give us a nicer room. The issues included: Toilet not clean; Shower top head not working (water coming out of pipes);Gutter smell; TV doesn’t work. Choosing this apartment was the best idea for my trip to Durres. The location was excellent. It was great to have a spectacular sea view. The apartment was spacious, stylish, modern and comfortable. I liked having the kitchen to make snacks and coffee to enjoy on the balcony with an amazing view. I slept so well listening to the sounds of the waves. I was working during this trip and the internet at the apartment was powerful. The management team was super helpful with recommendations and making travel arrangements for the area.
