A Budget-Friendly Gem

My recent stay at Hotel Bournissa exceeded my expectations for budget accommodation in Algiers. Situated in a convenient location, the hotel offered adequate amenities without breaking the bank.

The standout feature of this establishment is undoubtedly its staff. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by super helpful employees who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort throughout my stay. Their friendly demeanour and willingness to assist with any inquiries or requests truly enhanced my experience.

While the hotel may not offer luxurious frills, it provides all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, offering a cosy retreat after a day of work in the city. Additionally, the complimentary amenities provided, such as Wi-Fi and breakfast, added value to my stay.

In terms of location, Hotel Bournissa is conveniently situated near the main roads, making it easy to navigate into the city.

The hotel is clean and generally well-maintained, but the location is a major issue. It's very difficult to access, and finding parking nearby is a real challenge. Luckily, the customer service does offer to take care of your car, which is a nice touch.

One of the biggest disappointments was the price. It was advertised as 5400 DA, but when I arrived, I was told the actual price is 9000 DA — which felt misleading.

Another issue was the air conditioning. The room was very warm, and even though I tried to turn on the AC, it was only working in heating mode. I called reception, and they said it's a central air system — but it simply wasn't cooling.

Overall, for 9000 DA, I expected much better. The poor location and non-functional air conditioning made the stay uncomfortable. Not worth the price...

My stay at Bournissa Hotel was exceptional, thanks to the impeccable service provided by Mehdi, Aissa, and Yacine. Yacine's prompt email responses, Aissa's warm smile and helpfulness with luggage & ease in check in, and Mehdi's thoughtful gesture of preparing a sandwich when he learned I hadn't had dinner truly made my stay memorable.
