El Riadh Hotel - Sidi Fredj — Hotel in Staoueli

The hotel lobby is pretty nice and the restaurant is compared to other algerian Hotel Restaurants pretty nice. But negativ is that you have a bad internet W-Lan connection which you can only use in the lobby - In the rooms are no Internet connection. The rooms are very simple and not as dirty as the other critic is saying but it is only for people with low expetacion but it fullfills the minimum standard (room). My room was pretty clean. Another plus is that they have a kind of second restaurant where there is music in the evenening. But my advice is to order a room which is not near to this restaurant to get sure to have a quiet night. We asked for single rooms but ended up in triples anyway. It's difficult to fathom their pricing as prices don't match those shown behind the reception desk. The rooms were very basic. Hard lumpy matresses and grubby linen. It was clean, but then not surprising since house keeping pound on your door to clean the rooms from as early as 8am, and then repeatedly every 30 minutes until you are forced to wake up and deal with it. In theory, there are two sets of locking doors to your room, but the first doors seemed broken in most cases with the locks ripped out. The establishment is old, the rooms are rather small, beds are small, bed sheets have yellow marks, very few TV channels, no Wi-Fi, bathrooms are from a horror movie. An army of all sorts of insects occupies the place. The reception isn't the greatest (they promised us a discount then denied it), a guy opens the door to the beach at 8 A.m! And the dirty beach is overcrowded, The waiters in the restaurant act like slave owners, the food itself is horrible. And everyone wants a tip.
