Romancing the River Located at the mouth of the Kwanza River – and adjacent to the sea – the eco lodge is housed in one of the most picturesque settings in the country. The backdrop of the dense jungle across the river adds a magical touch to the already romantic location. Considering the price we paid for a Full board package this place is an absolute steal!

LOCATION: Wonderful location right at the mouth of the river in a magical surrounding

DINE + DRINK: We were on a full board package. So it was a bit of a downer we had to put up with a Buffet for all included meals. However the Chefs were whipping up such wonderful local and international dishes, we felt quite indulged! The bar is well stocked and do NOT miss have a few sundowners on the patio

ROOM: We stayed in Bungalow #10, so this review is based on that; VIEW: The Balcony/Patio of the room has a sweet view of the river and perfect place to lounge with your favorite book/magazine ; SIZE: Very spacious room; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part to put me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand in shower; TOILETRIES: None, Bring your own!

FACILITIES: No Gym , so it’s a pure African chillout mode. The Swimming pool is pretty good though and comes with a nice view of the river and a great place to lounge with your favorite drink and enjoy the Hakuna Matata of Africa!

SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all my needs with a smile and made us feel pampered and well taken care of. Special Shout out to George and VEga the lovely owners of the property who treated us more like their own family than guests!
