Looking for an option other than the Gran Hotel Azul, I came across this place. Must say I REALLY liked it. The farm has a 1906 built main house where the rooms are located. Decoration keeps the spirit of being in the countryside and matches perfectly the house style.||Could see a couple of people complaining about "cold temperature" in the rooms. Well... all of them had A/C with the "warm" option, so this was not a problem at all. This, plus two well lit fireplaces were more than enough to keep the place warm and cosy.||There is no TV in the premises. This might be a setback to some. Nevertheless, I must assure you, it is a great opportunity to spend the nights talking, playing games, reading, or just having a cup of wine with your loved ones around the fireplace.||I spent two nights here with my wife and little daughter. All of us were extremely satisfied.||We went horseback riding. Horses are very well taken care of and great to ride.||The farm is full of animals. Horses, cows, llamas, pigs, hens, dogs, etc. All of them with their siblings, which was a great spectacle for my little one who is crazy about animals.||Breakfasts were great as well. Served with home made pie and jams, made from their own grown fruits (You can purchase the jams to take home if you wish).||Summarizing:||Cons: Can´t think of any. Really. Maybe I liked the atmosphere too much.||Pros: Everything else! Btw, the place is very close to Buenos Aires (only bat 270km)||||If you are looking for a countryside option, to experience the TRUE countryside experience (not the special staged experience for tourists), then this is a great place to go to.||||Thank you Carlota and Olaf for your warm...
Read moreJust passing by and found this place by coincidence. What a marble !! An old family estate converted to a comfy B&B place. The estate is fully authentic with a large parc where you can wander around the flowers, birds and butterflies. The hostel rooms are a little bit smaller and more simple than the hotel rooms, but still comfortable and enjoyable. Ofcourse the place is old and some corners are a little smelly, but the atmosphere of this old mansion is compensating this largely. The family is very friendly and will do everything to make your stay memorable. Reading a book at the pools side is what you can do, just bordered by Hummingbirds looking for nectar. Next door (200M) is the best restaurant in town.||We stayed in the hostel double room with shared bathroom for less than 200 pesos !! That's...
