Naindo Park Hotel — Hotel in La Rioja

The hotel is easy to find up a one-way street near the centre of town. Be prepared to only speak Spanish. This is normally not a disadvantage but when you arrive and the police have the area cordoned off, it is a little difficult to assess if there is danger. Add to this, restaurants in the town are closed from 3-9pm, opening thereafter, you have a lot of time to Indeed, everything in town has closed and we were left with a lot of time to sit tapping our fingers. We arrived and were promptly checked in. Our room on the second floor had grubby carpets, a large patch of hair on the bathroom floor and the power was off; how long it would take to restore was a question of how long is a piece of string. When it did come on, there was no internet or Airconditioning as advertised. While the hotel is shabby and not worthy of a 5-star rating, it's location was central and the staff patient. My biggest complaint is that the US$185 rate given to us by a very popular booking site was double the rack rate advertised at the desk. The hotel tried to hold us to "our special rate", but I would have slept another night in the lobby rather than be cajoled into paying such an unfair premium. Do these booking portals check the rates...

Lamentable entre los dias 26 y 27 de JULIO junto con 249 personas mas que llegamos en diferentes tours en 48 a la ciudad de la Rioja, y a ese desdeñable lugar "HOTEL NAINDO", SUFRI LA DISCRIMINACION ejercida por alguien que sus pares trabajadores del hotel identificaron como TOLEDO SILVIA, quien a voz en cuello hizo la tropelia que se le ocurrio, cuando trato a "PERSONAS QUE ENSUCIAN Y NO SE MERECEN EL HOTEL QUE SE LES ¿BRINDA?" no pueden desayunar como si fuesen Huespedes del hotel..... Que la gerencia que tardo 12 Horas en no traer el libro de quejas,ni destinar siquiera un Supervisor o Responsable para frenar a dicha persona o brindar las explicaciones que como pasajeros y huespedes del "hotel" mereciamosES DECIR ¿ESTARA DE ACUERDO AL DESEMPEÑO DE ESApersona? , transformo lo que habia comenzado como un "MAL ENTENDIDO PROBLEMAS DE HORARIOS" derivando en la Agresion Gratuita e inmerecida de parte de 250 pasajeros, que componiamos en 5 viajes de tours, elementos desechables para la incalificable TOLEDO SILVIA, quien en lugar de brindar la atencion y predisposicion de sus compañeros, DESEABA QUE ESTOS INDESEABLES (PASAJEROS) NO HUBIESEN LLEGADO A LA RIOJA, y mucho menos a ese hotel ¿5 estrellas en discriminacion, seguro?. o sera que el dinero y no cuestionar los valores de las tarfias del "hotel" no nos habilita a ser tratados por lo menos con respeto y educacion, o sera quizas que como nuestro dinero cubre los gastos fijos del "hotel" y los sueldos de los discriminadores, cobrado el mismo pòr adelantado nos convierte en titeres para que esa persona TOLEDO SILVIA, haga y diga lo que quiera. (tapar los elementos de desayuno y retirar las facturas como si una piara se quisiera avanlanzar sobre las mismas, sin corresponderle dicho evento). Por eso si esta proximo a viajar a la Ciudad de la RIoja y le Ofrecen las bondades de un edificio que pomposamente se denomina "el unico Hotel 5 estrellas de la ciudad" verifique la aprobacion de TOLEDO SILVIA, o arriesguese a que el HOTEL NAINDO unos 201 años de abolida la esclavitud y todo tipo de discriminacion en el territorio del Pais, le haga. Recomendacion: NO VAYA y deje a esa señora y a quienes la apañan que se queden con su hotel, una opinion no tendra consecuencia inmediatas, 250 opiniones, tendran un relativo poder, AHORA SI NADIE VA, EL HOTEL NAINDO DEBERA EVALUAR COMO Y DE QUE MANERA BRINDA EL SERVICIO DE 5 ESTRELLAS QUE...

We were here with the family for 3 nights to visit the talimpaya and the ischigualasto national parks.|| Positive:|- The location close to the plaza|- friendly staff|- hotel - bar ||Negative:|- uninviting lobby|- rooms falling apart (the blow dryer that was mounted to the wall, the towel - holder, the doorknobs, the sliding doors of the closet)|- air conditioning was very noisy |- the card that was supposed to unlock the room needed 5-15 tries every time I wanted to unlock the room|- the gym appliances were in horrible condition |- the carpets in the rooms were filthy ||I would recommend a simpler hotel that's well taken care of instead of a supposedly 4-star hotel in horrible condition. |The Naindo Park hotel is definitely not worth the price and you will regret spending your...
