Alaurí — Hotel in Municipio de Andacollo

We had the privilege of spending a week at Alauri with family, and it was simply amazing. Located just 5 minutes by car from Andacollo, we were able to stock up on provisions, meet the warmest and friendliest locals, and enjoy ample time around the Alauri Cabins. The cabins themselves are well-equipped, providing intimate, Patagonian-style accommodation with a warm décor and plenty of space. Some of the cabins can accommodate up to 8 people, and each comes with an outdoor BBQ area and seating for memorable gatherings. They all have TV and WiFi.

Our cabin featured an open-plan kitchen and lounge area downstairs, while upstairs housed two bedrooms: one with a double bed and another with a double bunk and a single bed. The place was spotless and well-prepared, offering toiletries, towels, bed linens, and pillows. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, making it feel like a home away from home.

Outdoors, nature continuously provided stunning views throughout the day, with the sunshine casting different aspects of the Andes into vivid life. The windows perfectly framed these breathtaking scenes. Ample parking, trails for walking, and designated areas for nighttime fires made exploring and relaxing effortless. If you are into star gazing, then nights at Alauri are for you!

Our host, Diego, was outstanding—always eager to make our stay special. He provided excellent recommendations and even organized personalized visits to several sites, including indigenous rock paintings and refreshing swims in the Neuquén River at the foot of the “Cordillera del Viento” (The Mount of the Wind). He even cooked a goat on the stake for us, with fabulous local wines, salads and hand made sweets. Truly a legend.

If you're seeking peace, quiet, immersion in nature, and the opportunity to meet some of the kindest people, Alauri is the place to be. Be warned: leaving may be difficult, and you'll likely find yourself...

Sin duda una experiencia inigualable. Las cabañas tienen una vista increíble! Están ubicadas de tal forma que, desde cada ventana se ve un paisaje bello e imponente. Nuestra cabaña era súper confortable, con sillones para contemplar el paisaje, sofá para descansar, con jacuzzi!!!. Perfectamente equipada, para poder cocinar allí, hacer asado o llevar comida. Hasta libros y juegos para entretenerse tienen. Las habitaciones perfectas, cómodas, bien iluminadas. Todo calefaccionado. Sábanas y toallas de excelente calidad. Agua caliente perfecta. El parque hermoso y amplio, con lugares para sentarse a contemplar la inmensidad y belleza del paisaje y por las noches el cielo estrellado, que es una locura! Es para destacar la atención de Mariana, que es súper cálida y amable y está atenta a cada detalle y necesidad del huésped, tanto que hasta nos hizo una lista con los lugares para recorrer, con las indicaciones. Sin duda recomiendo Alaurí 100 %, no...

Si imagino un lugar ideal para descansar en la montaña, con vistas increíbles, tranquilidad y todo lo necesario para estar bien, sin dudas este lugar cumple con todo (y más) de lo que puedo imaginar. Pocos lugares nos han atraído tanto como estas cabañas. Reservamos tres noches y nos quedamos cinco. Y nos hubiésemos quedado 10 para descansar y seguir conociendo los rincones de la zona. Algo que lo hace único es su ubicación. Al no estar en el pueblo y situarse en la ladera de un cerro el entorno se vuelve excepcional. Además, la cabaña tiene absolutamente todo lo que se necesita para estar cómodos. En un viaje donde recorrimos todo el norte neuquino, Alauri se lleva todos los laureles al mejor alojamiento en los que estuvimos. Pero esto no sería así sin la excelente atención de Diego que está pendiente de todo lo que necesitás. Si algún día volvemos, sin dudarlo reservaríamos nuevamente...
