Pristine Salinas Grandes Luxury Camp — Hotel in Municipio de El Moreno

While it looks an amazing location, be very careful. ||We booked to go to Prestine Salinas Grandes in Jujuy (November 2024), having tried to contact them multiple times over the previous 5 days - they never responded to confirm our stay. ||Their customer service is unresponsive and appalling, as we sent multiple email messages, made 15+ phone calls and reached out on WhatsApp/ Instagram to try and confirm our stay. The phones are not answered, or go to voice mail, but they don't call back, if you leave a message.||Ultimately, we received nothing, and we needed this confirmed before setting off on a long and expensive trip (flight/Hire car) especially having seen a previous review below by David910, who comments about not being able to stay, despite having a booking conformation! ||The complication is that guests cannot get to Prestine Camp, as you are met at Tres Morros, in the middle of nowhere, without mobile reception, and if they are not there, you have no options but to return down the mountain and find alternative accommodation. ||Without our conformation, we did not wish to start a long journey to wait for no one to turn up from the hotel, so sadly we had to change plans. ||We booked directly on their website, but they may be more responsive to Travel Agents enquiries, but do beware, this may well be a elaborate scam (you book room, but cannot find the camp). ||If the camp is real, the customer experience in booking or trying to talk to the hotel is unbelievable bad and deeply frustrating, don't bother staying, it will save you a lot of pain and grief. ||We are now considering Uyuni in...

We were excited to go. We received an email confirming our reservation with confirm number for that night. We tried many times to call, email and whatsapp to confirm the pick-up time. They never responded. We drove 3 hours on X-Mas to the designated pick-up site in the desert on a dirt road (straight out of Breaking Bad). They didn’t show up. There was no cell coverage, so couldn’t call. Nice man in a house at the pick-up site texted them. After 20 minutes, they claimed we had no reservation. We sent them a copy of the email confirmation (and screen shot) they had sent us. They stalled another 20 minutes and then said they couldn’t pick us up because it was “too late” and not safe. No apology. We had to drive back another 3 hours over the mountain pass and hunt for somewhere to stay at 10:30pm. They never answered the phone and have failed to respond to the questions we posed via email. Multiple attempts to call them went unanswered. For a supposed luxury camp, it is absurd that they don’t answer the phone and provide no means of contacting them. Given that we have never received an explanation for why they never answered the phone, emails, WhatsApp or texts, and never explained why they didn’t show up, I would exercise extreme caution before booking here. Nada más excepcional y fuera de todo contexto que éste proyecto de Pristine Camps en medio de las Salinas Grandes. Punto de encuentro en Tres Morros (son 3 casas y una iglesia estilo.colonial de color blanco que se divisa desde lejos). Allí dejamos nuestro auto bajo una media sombra y al cuidado de Andrés, uno de los integrantes de la comunidad local, que forman parte del proyecto. Nos subimos a una 4x4 doble cabina con Wally al volante, de tan sólo 19 años de edad, uno de los más jóvenes de la familia y que cumple varias tareas como el resto de su familia en Pristine Camps. Allí nos entregó nuestras cantimploras personales, las cuales en todo momento debíamos llenar con agua mineral en el complejo. Al llegar nos recibieron Mariana García Del Río, actual Gerente del proyecto, pero antes encargada de la gastronomía y en los fuegos. Mariana se encargó de dejarnos bien en claro que estar durante 2 días en eledio del salar, es un evento extraordinario, pero a la.vez extremo y para nosotros foráneos, podría representar una exigencia a la cual deberíamos estar atentos y por sobre todo, lo esencial, hidratarnos constantemente y comer bien (más de lo habitual). Tu cuerpo necesita mucha energía, mucha más de lo habitual en condiciones y ambientes normales. Hechas las recomendaciones, nos acompañan a nuestro domo para 2 personas (hay 4 en total, 2 para 2 personas y 2 para 3 personas). Tos 4 domos habitaciones se conectan con un camino tipo deck de madera, con el Domo Central al medio en el cual se concentran las comidas y aperitivos: desayuno, almuerzo, merienda, golden hour del atardecer (copa de espumante) y cena. El Domo dormitorio es hermoso, elegante y súper práctico y preparado. La estructura desde fuera se cubre por lona blanca y por dentro una tela acolchada y aislante. Un enorme ventanal con lona plástica transparente, nos ofrece vistas increíbles en todo momento y al estar del lado contrario al camino deck, es un espacio súper íntimo para observar desde la cama. El sistema es all inclusive. A la hora de las comidas conocimos a Noe quien con su amabilidad e interminables sonrisas nos hizo sentir muy cuidados y completó la.experiencia. También en los servicios están presentes Mariana y Martín (guía arqueólogo, fotógrafo del complejo en las tomas nocturnas y colaborador incansable). Martin fué un integrante que tampoco podremos olvidar y el cual merece todo nuestro agradecimiento. Nos acompañó en el 2do día, a nuestra excursión a Barrancas, pueblo con un valor arqueológico enorme. Recorrimos las barrancas, el centro de observación arqueológica con los guías locales y como broche de oro, nos prepararon un picnic sobre una explanada que miraba a las barrancas. Un momento excepcional de la excursión y la experiencia en Pristine Camps. Las comidas centrales como desayuno y cena, son excelentes. La calidad y ejecución de los productos son de altísima calidad y a la altura de cualquier restaurante hotelero internacional (fotos). Para el desayuno el café es fantástico, los panes, repostería, jugos naturales y dulces caseros. PRISTINE CAMPS está dando sus primeros pasos y estamos muy agradecidos a todo el equipo de haber formado parte de sus primeras historias. Seguro se irán haciendo ajustes sobre la marcha, ya que como bien dije es una experiencia muy extrema y el lugar y clima te ponen a prueba.
