La Casita Hostel & Suite — Hotel in Municipio de San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca

An absolutely wonderful place to stay in Catamarca. The hostel is a converted old house, with four bedrooms, a garden, a pool, a grill and an amazing host, Jorge. The house comes complete not just with comfortable rooms and great internet, but with art objects varying from an old record player and an antique sawing machine, to the replicas of Incan art created by local artists.

Jorge is friends with some of these artists, and was kind enough to take me to their art community just outside of the city. I bought several beautiful paintings and sculptures, can't wait to get them!

I had a really special stay at Jorge's Casita and Hostel. He has made a very beautiful and stylish place, in which I felt very comfortable and at ease. It really doesn't feel like a hostel - more like a home with great interior decor. Jorge made me feel very welcome; almost like one of his family of friends. Ojalá se pudiera calificar con 10 estrellas, pero bue... sólo hay 5 y sentís que no son suficientes para puntuar esta mágica "casita", en la que hacen que te sientas como en la propia, pero a eso no puedo evitar sumarle el plus que te regalan todos los días, con su buena energía, amistad, empatía, risas, siempre listos para hacer realidad ese paseo que soñaste. No van a encontrar lugar mejor, hay paz, comodidad, buena música desde que abrís tus ojos a la mañana, hasta que se baja el telón por las noches. Puede parecer por su nombre que es pequeño, pero nada más lejos de la realidad. Es hermoso, cuidado hasta en el último detalle, limpio, con todo lo que necesitas. Tiene un living alucinante, un patio de ensueño con verde por todos lados,pileta, juegos, las camas súper cómodas, cocina completísima. Y por último les cuento sobre Jorge, el dueño de este hogar, es buenisimo, atento, correcto, está en todos los detalles, ni hablar de su buena onda y de la de su gente. Son lo más!!!
