Apart Cabañas Olivos del Sol — Hotel in San Juan

We rented a one bedroom cottage which slept 4 - one double bed and one single in the bedroom and a single in the living area. The living area is open plan and includes a lounge, and kitchen with dining table. There's an outdoor veranda with table and chairs as well. ||The cottages are spaced apart in nice gardens with lots of trees and plants so there is plenty of privacy. There's a shared pool which is quite nice (water was freezing though) but we found it was quite crowded most of the time so we hardly used it. This got quite annoying as the whole area was taken over by a large group of kids on several occasions who had no consideration for other guests. There were quite a lot of loungers but they didn't have any cushions on them and were pretty uncomfortable. ||The complex is right next to a busy road so you constantly hear the noise of traffic which spoils the impression of being in a quiet country location. Besides the road, it was noisy in general- neighbors playing music late at night, and one day we were woken by some guys drilling outside our window! It would have been nice if we'd been told about that. ||On two occasions our outdoor table and chairs disappeared and reappeared with no explanation. ||The complex charges $100 for visitors or $50 if not using the pool which seems quite cheeky. It put us off having any friends over. ||The kitchen had 2 gas burners, an electric oven, a microwave and a large fridge. It didn't have much equipment for cooking however. Only 2 pans, one of which was extremely small and no oven dishes. ||The bedding wasn't in very good condition with holes in the sheets. Only 3 Coat hangers were supplied for 2 people staying for 2 weeks. We asked for extra and got 3 more. We ended up buying a pack in the supermarket so we could hang our clothes. ||There was Wifi but the signal was very weak. Sometimes it didn't work. ||Overall it was a mixed bag. I'd rather find another place to stay on my next visit but it wasn't so bad that I wouldn't stay again if there were...

The apart hotel was more than we expected.The place itself it’s among trees and makes the place feel like paradise alot of olive trees and many other fruits amount the entire place.The hotel is safe as I personally left many of my belongings and never did anything go missing.The staff are usually the same girls and they were lovely .Each house has their own parking space so no problem there,hours are different so breakfast was drop off daily in the late afternoon for early morning.This is odd but is argentina let alone san juan.The house we stayed in was named the alamos I felt right at home the pool was cleaned every morning and the house itself everyday at the time we had set.Sheets were changed every two days and towels were also.Bring your own towels as these can be rather small for pool side.|They have food which can be ordered to your liking but we brought our own.Andres was a pleasure as we had our very large family over for xmas eve he accommodated our large group by bringing us extra chairs and tables.This place is great don’t think to much and book we will return next dec if god gives us...

El complejo es precioso. Estuve en la cabaña 4. Muy cómoda para 4 personas, con dos baños , espaciosa, aire acondicionado en los ambientes, una galería inmensa, parrilla y un dia de mucho viento hicimos uso del chulengo que también estaba disponible. El desayuno muy bueno. Una pena que el servicio de limpieza fuera nulo. En 6 días jamás nos hicieron las camas (eso es lo de menos) no nos acercaron toallas, no vinieron a retirar la basura y para comer optamos por hacer uso de la parrilla ya que no teniamos ni una fuente de horno, ni una sarten...nada! Solo una olla y un colador de pastas. Luego de pedir me dieron una fuente para ensaladera y una plancha de churrascos....pero no sirvió de sartén por ser acanalada. El ultimo día despues de volver a solicitar consegui una pizera. Una pena que alquilen no teniendo equipado el lugar porque hasta heladera grande con freezer. Tal vez vuelva y le de otra oportunidad porque el predio es precioso y la pileta es grande y tiene...
