Stayed in Armenia for nearly two weeks, seeing the whole of the country from south to north. Visited numerous localities but Dilijan and, in particular, the splendid Casanova Inn are out of this world and beyond dreams. Dilijan is itself a tranquil place rich in natural beauties and relaxing climate, however, Casanova Inn enhances the richness and tranquillity. Casanova Inn gives you a sense of paradise, something that you need in order to get fully relaxed and free from the daily bustle and hassle of megapolises such as Yerevan. ||Situated on top a hill, surrounded by forests and overlooking Dilijan, Casanova Inn is a friendly-environment family hotel that features all necessary amenities and splendid food. The food there, served during breakfast and lunchtime, is as rich and diverse as Armenia and its culture. Healthy food occupies half of the table and all is included in the final price. Casanova is also within a walking distance to the town's main attractions as well as restaurants and shops. Casanova can't do nothing more than to give you joy and peace. The climate there is best suited, being at around 20-25°c, a fresh air from the forest and river is felt throughout Dilijan.||Most importantly, I would like to express my gratitude and best regards to Hayk, the hotel's host. Hayk is a hospitable, kind, polite and professional person always willing to provide assistance to professional level. He is professional in everything from organizing tours and transfers to preparation of finest Armenian food. Once again. many thanks and all the best to Hayk and Hovahness. Whenever we come to Armenia next time, we will only be staying at Casanova. Pity that we didn't know about it in detail beforehand, otherwise we would have stayed there longer. ||Casanova is the most beautiful and cosy hotel in Armenia with all services and pleasure at your service. ||||P.S. Not for nothing for decades today's Casanova Inn housed the reception rooms and sanatorium for members of the Armenian Academy...
Read moreWe booked Casanova Inn to enjoy the scenic beauty of Dilijan and we were extremely happy with the decision. The place is close to the city centre, has lovely views of the mountain, great food that is cooked freshly to your taste and wonderful hospitality right through. ||Wahan, the manager was at the entrance to welcome us and took care of all our needs. We did a full board which we usually don't as we love to explore different places but we were not disappointed as Wahan would check everyday on what we would like to eat and have it served hot and delicious. ||Hike would serve fresh spread of sumptuous breakfast at every table each day.||We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and highly recommend the boutique hotel to anyone planning a stay in Dilijan. Wahan even went out of his way to get firewood late in the night and have the fireplace in the dining room working when a couple of guests requested. We all had a lovely cosy chat around the room sipping herb tea or hot chocolate.||Thank you Wahan and team for your...
Read moreWe stayed friday to sunday end of this September - absolutely stunning views, super calm, relaxing environment and clean mountain air. Mr. Hyak was incredibly helpful and welcoming. A low bow for him. Breakfast is amazing and somewhat different each morning. Crazy rich full menu for lunch\dinner. Prices are not that bad, especially, when you get everything fresh everything right here, takes about an our to prepare, as everything is being cooked on spot. Pricewise on par with restaurants in the center, maybe a bit less expensive even. Only few minor inconveniences, like non closing door to the basthroom\toilet. What I suggest for management is to consider, a public water cooler with hot\cold water for the tea, somewhere in the kitchen area. That'd help tremendously, as you don't have kettles in the rooms. Second point is gas heaters like you have in Europe in the restaurants during cold season, as it will help to deal with cold during taking meals in cold season. All in all...
