Levanda City - Sevan Lake Cottages — Hotel in Gegharkunik Province

Horrible dirty place, problematic to get there, the guy that rents the place (Goqorik) is not able to use Airbnb and/or pretends he doesn’t see the reservations notifications, because we took his phone and showed him our reservation in his Airbnb account. So we arrived to a surprise that no one was waiting for us. With kids and language! They placed us in a house with leaking toilets and sinks in the bathroom and the kitchen. Most probably this was the house his cleaning lady stays. Thank god Airbnb returned our money, but the guy charged us 35000 dram for the night and told us will move us to a better cottage next day. The one we reserved via Airbnb. The next day no one came untill we called him and woke him up at noon. But instead the guy said hey, you have to stay there today as well your cottage is already taken. Haha no wonder. We couldn’t find a place to move out that day, so we had to stay in this dump. He didn’t even bother to call us and say not to pack and not to wait. No respect to the customers whatsoever. the guys name is Goqorik, who doesn’t even want to sit and listen to what we say. He just repeats that it’s not his problem that Airbnb rents us a taken cottage 😄 he said he doesn’t work with Airbnb, 😄 I wonder who is posting his housing in there (of course him) He just turns his back and leaves instead of solving problems. He looks like he is high all the time, wears shades and never takes them off. He doesn’t check his Airbnb and bookings notifications at all, he said he just swaps them away. The place is a dump!!!!! You have to clean leaking water all time from the floor. No towels for guests, no nothing!!!! We paid 60 000 for stress and disrespect towards us from an amateur young entrepreneur, who has no idea how to rule business and no idea what service and customer satisfaction is. I mean no service at all. No washing machine no decent toilets. No Toilette paper until we asked him to bring. We found other place in Dilijan and left as soon as we could from this hell, called lava das city that has nothing to do with lavanda. DONT COME HERE...

Getting here can be a little confusing as this place is known as “Lavanda City” locally. Google Maps labels it as Sevan Lake Cottages, which none of the locals understood it as.

It is actually a very large area of dacha-like bungalows. Some of which appear to have been built on unstable land, resulting in a significant number of them being reclaimed by the marsh of Lake Sevan.
