Nairi Spa Resorts — Hotel in Hankavan

The hotel is located in a very nice place! There is a nice ‘park’ to walk, but the space is too limited! Overall the area is very clean and nice. |The staff is not too friendly, especially in the reception. During the weekend the hotel was full and there were not enough people to handle the check-in, which made guests to wait for a long time in order to get a room. |You are obliged to eat only in the hotel, because there is no place nearby! The breakfast and lunch in the hotel were tasty but the choice was too little. Especially for the breakfast. |It’s worth to mention that the place to eat was very small, which made people wait in case of they did not come down on time.|The bar offered different events in the evening, but as well as the eating space, it was too small and people could not get inside. This is something which needs to be changed.|Our room was a studio! It was a very nice and clean room! Some things in the room could be better, but the most important is that we informed that we will be 3 people, but everything was put only for 2 people.|There was almost nothing to do there, except for bikes, which were overdated. We recently stayed at this hotel and were disappointed with several aspects of our experience. The food quality was poor — breakfast eggs were overly salty, the variety was limited, and the sweets and jams were not enjoyable. The fruit selection was very small, not clean or appetizing, and the apples had a garlicky taste, possibly from the knives used. The only truly good meal we had was at the paid restaurant.

The balcony open restaurant was also very disappointing — it was dirty, the tables were out of place, and on them we often saw cigarette butts, ashes, and dust. Overall, it did not feel clean or inviting.

For the amount we paid, the overall value did not meet our expectations. The pool and lockers are old and would benefit from renovation.

Very disappointing experience, especially as a hotelier. The property itself is beautiful with a great building, scenic mountains, and a river nearby—but unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.

The stay was not value for money at all. Pricing was misleading—we assumed the quoted rate was for 2 nights, only to be shocked upon check-in that it was for 1 night only. Communication was extremely poor, and we struggled to find any staff member who could understand us properly. There was no explanation of hotel facilities or what was included in our stay.

Breakfast was very poor and lacking in variety. They also advertised a dinner buffet, but it didn’t even meet the standard of basic snacks.
