Vallex Garden Hotel Alaverdi — Hotel in Lori Province

It has always been difficult to find a good hotel in Alaverdi. This hotel came to fill the gap. However, my impression is very controversial:||Pros|- new, modern|- exceptionally clean|- helpful and good staff, especially the waiters of the restaurant|- spacious suits and restrooms|- free water, coffee and tea|- pot, paper tissues, safe, fridge and extra blankets available|- A/C and heating systems available|- very good breakfast buffet|- toiletries of good quality|- shower of good pressure|- bed linen and comfort|- front yard with parking, electrical car charging point and nice cafe|- adequate price/quality||Cons|- staff at reception was very kind but lacks professionalism, so needs training|- no elevator|- the dining area or ,,restaurant,, was not isolated from the lobby, so get prepared to eat when visitors walk by|- the views of most rooms are just stuck into the opposite walls of an abandoned building|- the neighborhood is not attractive at all||Recommended for families, big and...

I stayed one night in Vallex Hotel. This building was originally the administrative office of Alaverdi Copper Smelting Plant. After shutdown of the plant in 2018, this building was then converted to the current hotel and cafe last year. We spent a very comfortable two nights at this lovely hotel. It has a luxurious feeling and the rooms, beds, towels are ready good quality. Receptionists very helpful and fluent in English. Breakfast is served in the open air restaurant outside. Dinner also available there from an extensive menu. Unfortunately the draftbeer was not available during our visit, but many other choices.
