Our experience was very bad. We feel deceived and let down. Not timely provided essential information is a deception. For us, this hotel experience was a huge shock and let down. I've booked this hotel as a family resort holiday, my elderly mother flew from far away, we flew from another third country to have a together time in this resort, so that my child spends time with her granny in the pool slides that I saw in the pictures. For this, I sacrificed the comfort of being in the city center. Let's say Cross resort is a bit in the middle of nowhere, there's nothing much around, like, shops and restaurants, far from the excursions pick up points, nowhere to walk much, but the territory of the resort. When in the morning we went to see the territory and saw that all the outside pools are empty, pool chairs are stacked together, construction workers working around and tiles and construction materials are scattered around the area I was shocked. Such a punch in the stomach. Apparently, in May the open pools are closed, it's a low season. But there was no information on booking about it. How come?? It said "the pool is open". For fairness, the internal spa and pool indeed were functioning. But if we wanted the interior pool, we would have booked other great hotels in the city center or close to it, like Metropol. Why would we go so far? There's plainly nothing to do there with the 4 year old child, all the territory is simply not livable with all the construction work, there are no shallow pools, the playground is not clean and taken over by the weed. The resort does not look ready for tourists! This is simply not fair to charge for this sort of stay without clearly letting people know how limited the amenities are. I can see how the resort can be enjoyable if the pools are open and there's no construction in progress. It has potential: many pools, shallow children's pool with cool slides, a big playground. Alas, that's not what was offered to us. The staff was nice and helpful. And they cancelled for us the rest of the stay for free, let us stay 1 hour later than the check out (because we were feverishly searching for a new hotel, and, of course, there were not many options left for such short notice) and helped to organize a taxi. But honestly... A very bitter feeling. If only I had known before, I would have planned this trip so much better. You guys should say it clearly and not conceal such...

Rooms were never even swept within a week, the cleaning finished with throwing up the bin, and changing towels. The standard of the apartment is a European 1.5 star max 2 star hotel. Walls /painting falling off, broken glass, and alot more. The restaurant we ordered burgers (only) very expensive (not woth the price), and pursued for couple of days by different personals that we didn't pay for cocktail although showing each and everytme the receipt had no cocktail, but that didn't stop them coming multiple days. An advice from someone ignoring my experience if you want burgers go to pitstop in city centre 2 way Taxi + burgers cheaper and more tasty than from this restaurant. Outside of the building so old that reminds me building from the age 1930s Generally family visiting us were asked to pay 20$ fee each approach to enter the pool area although they were not coming for the pool but a cup of coffee to us and we had to intervene. Buy the way we went to another pool for 3$ fee was much much better than this one, no slides, parents with children like us were stuck on the other side of the building where the pool for the small ones was designated but you really end up sunbathing in the middle of restaurant tables and people trying to get lunch and so uncomfortable. And of course don't take my word only I am sharing pictures from 2 apartments and as they say a picture says more than a thousand words

Positives: very sympathetic cleaning lady, big rooms, the fact that there's a pool, and as family the location of our building was not far from the pool and restaurant and yet quite, air conditioning. Changed the room however the quality was not much of...

We stayed at the apartments:||Positives : the Managers ,Karen and Asrak. They will do whatever they can in their capacity to make your stay better.||-The apartments are well equipped eith kitchen utensills and are quite comfortable.we stayed with a 2 yr old.no microwave .||- The complex has trees laden with fruits like apricot ,cherries, plums and you can pluck them and eat whenever you want.||-the swimming pool is huge and clean.||The premises is overall good.||NEGATIVES :||Its not a resort.its a sports complex.||The breakfast at the cafeteria is not good with cold food like cheese toast.||The infrastructure of the interiors at the apartment was good except the outside.it feels like nobody paid attention to it.||Overall you will not get the feel of a resort since its a sports complex.||The cottages looked better from outside.the only thing is they dont have an equipped ktichen or may be i m wrong.but i regretted not booking the cottages.||The bathrooms in the apartments have a problem while taking showers .the water spreads all around .we had to ask for a wiper.||If given a choice again, i ll prefer to stay at the city centre since its away from the...

The resort has potential but currently falls short of expectations. Photos online do not reflect the reality on-site, and I do not recommend it in its current condition. --- ✅ Positive Aspects: • Spacious apartments: The units themselves are decent in size and layout, offering a comfortable stay if maintained properly. • Available amenities: The resort includes services such as children’s play areas and recreational activities, which could be attractive for families. --- ❌ Negative Aspects: • Misleading photos: The online images are far more polished than the actual condition of the resort. • Neglected landscaping: Outdoor areas are poorly maintained, lacking care and aesthetic appeal. • Run-down exterior: The building façade appears worn and in need of renovation. • Maintenance issues: Water leakage in the bathrooms and lack of proper upkeep reflect poor management. • Far from city center: The resort is located away from central Yerevan, making access to urban activities and services inconvenient. • Underutilized potential: With proper investment and attention, the resort could be beautiful—but as it stands, it’s not worth recommending.

The Cross Resort has the best pool in Armenia. The pool has a good size, nice music all day long, nice attentive staff, a good bar / restaurant area with a proper menu. There is a good regulation on who is allowed to the pool, that’s why families and ladies have a good time. Make sure you come in the morning already to be assured of a good place in the sun or shade. Great amenities for kids too. And if you stay longer, book a cottage or apartment for a great holiday near the Yerevan city center. We will be back at the Cross Resort next year for sure!
