Terrible customer service and very dirty. The 5 star reviews must be left by friends and family of the owners. I didn’t receive any booking confirmation, and no information about check-in time or process until 11pm the night before my stay - after I said I would have to report to the ACCC because it felt like I’d been scammed. The cabin itself was uncleaned - including the toilet, bathroom, dirty dishes in the cupboard, surfaces had not been wiped for a long time. The bbq is unusable. Panels from the blinds are missing so no privacy in the lounge area. Cobwebs and thick dust everywhere. Other guests were letting their dogs run free around the property, and with no fencing around the cabins this is a problem if you have children who are scared of dogs. Linen is provided but only bedding and enough towels for the number of guests - no hand towel, bath mat, washers or spare towels or sheets. No wildlife encounters, I guess because of the dogs and motorbike. UPDATE: despite the reply below from the owner, I was not refunded. I attempted contacting them by email, phone and Facebook to discuss the issues at the time with no reply. And a month later they post a lie to say they refunded? PLEASE spend your...
Read moreBAD EXPERIENCE. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Stayed there for 5 days in the winter and the place only has one air conditioner so it took forever to heat the whole place up, there's no electric blankets so we froze in the rooms. Not very clean. There was a switch in the kitchen that sparked when my husband put it on. There is NO oven only a tiny one that will heat one slice of pizza. So good luck to families that want to cook their own food, because the nearest woollies is about 45mins away in cooma. They gave me ONE roll of toilet paper for 5 days??? For a family of 6??? And not only that it's been 2 weeks since we've stayed there and I still haven't received my deposit back? I was told 5 days from the day I leave... CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS.... DONT BOOK HERE....NOT FOR THE PRICE THEY'RE ASKING FOR... You can stay in much much...
Read moreThe cabins are convenient for going to Selwyn Snow Resort. They are just next to the Snowy Mountain Highway. There is a bit of dirt road from the highway to the cabin, with a narrow section and a pond next to it, so be careful if you're arriving at night.
The cabin room is spacious and well equipped. There is good aircon and fireplace to help you keep warm. The kitchen has all the essential equipment. There are kangaroos around and the kids enjoyed that very much.
I particularly like the communication from the managing company Cox Property. They would give courtesy calls before making a charge for the room, so you have opportunities to...
