Beautiful site for camping. Flat tent areas, enough karavan spots. Website showed full, we got 1 spot, but actually only 5-6 families from full 25 sites were present. Do not book, if not going, otherwise cancel! Free of ants, no mosquitos, minimum flies. Windy, quite close to ocean, about 10min walk. Nice gravel road into campground. 500m before flushable toilets, on the campground non-flushable, but clean ones. Toilet paper was not present, get yours just in case. Tap water to wash legs, 2 viewing points. Big parking area. Spent 2 nights, 14-16 feb. Get rubbish with you, no fires allowed. Families with dogs and children mainly, nice crowd. 5km from main road roughly. Saw koala standing next to the road, red-belly snake having sunbath. On the way back to Melbourne picked some apples and yellow plums from the trees.

Booked a site in mid August so it was overcast and drizzly but we were in a campervan so it was great! One of only 3 cars there. Be aware that sites 18-25 are on a grassy hill with an incline. I'm guessing these sites are more for caravans or large tent set ups as they were quite big. The other sites appeared to be more level. Must be self sufficient with water and power. Several drop loos that were well stocked with TP when we were there but it was dead of winter. I can imagine it would be packed out in summer, it is about a 1 minute walk to a lovely beach. There is a decent sized car park for day visitors too and there were lots of locals there with their pooches. Had little to no reception with Optus and Aldi. Road becomes unsealed as you enter the campground but is fine for all vehicles but lots of pot holes!

Wow, even with it overcast, it was a very warm day, dog friendly leash required, toilets , camping spots , and wasn't sure if I had to book or was a free area but decided best to continue for weather reasons, next day was expected to extremely hot 44, took my breath away, dogs were in awe and could have stayed there all summer if allowed, my first drive along great Ocean road , lovely scenery but keeping an eye on changing road speeds and conditions was more the priority for me this trip, but made plenty of mental notes for future trips, stay safe x
