Fyrefly Retreat — Hotel in Beechmont

We LOVED our stay at Fyrefly! It's a stunning, private location and the house is beautifully decorated with everything you need and more. Perfect for those of us that love the outdoors and the finer things in life.

My children (8 and 11) loved their bedroom, the fire and all the space. We played frisbee and a little soccer but it was risky with the hill and electric fence! So if you have children, bring different games / sporting equipment.

We loved everything about Fyrefly. Couldn't fault it. We'll be back!

We are at the Flying Bean Cafe, Binna Burra Tea House and Ginja Ninja. All we're fantastic and catered for kids and coeliac disease.

The Caves walk from Binna Burra lodge was amazing. I wouldn't recommend for younger kids though. It's narrow and slippery in places.

Can't wait to come back without the kids and eat at Hazelwood and...

You really can't beat the views here. Watching the fog roll in over the valley from the lounge was incredible. The hosts were easy to communicate with and the place had lots of charm.

The outdoor area had great string lights and spotlights on the trees, which could be turned on and off from inside. It was really cool!

We self-checked-in after dark and it was a tad difficult to find the place, but its very easy to find during daylight. It says on the website the loft rooms are 1.6m, which is shorter than it sounds. I am 1.65m tall and still had to bend forward a ways to get around.

Fabulous and innovative tiny house in a beautiful, peaceful location. We loved our stay and the responsiveness of the hosts. Although the ceiling height and bedroom access is clearly stated in the description, it is worth empathising that the house is only suitable for people with full mobility and physical flexibility! The main bedroom is accessed via steep stairs and the 2nd bedroom requires a precarious ladder climb. My partner and I are fit and average height but even we found the low ceilings challenging.
