Bellmeadow Homestead — Hotel in Bellbrook

An accidental overnight stay (was planning on a pub stay), and such a wonderful place to o/n when just wandering/exploring. My room (shared bathroom, & a very clean one too) was roomy, even with it's own bar fridge tucked in the corner. It opened onto the verandah, which was great with the screen door, as I left them open at night. 'Forewarned is forearmed' as the Bellbrook pub across the road only does dinner Fri & Sat (maybe Sunday??), so I did a visit to the supermarket in Kempsey and bought a salad bowl + bread roll, and enjoyed it, sitting on the verandah (after a glass of wine at the pub). Lovely room, beautiful historic house and appealing garden. We slept well in a comfy bed. Bathroom enduite very nice. Rewa was an excellent host. In the pre-booking stage she was flexible about dates and ability to accommodate my 6 donkeys and 1 mule. Our dogs ere OK in her garden while supervised. (They slept in our vehicle. Garden not securely fenced). Rewa also purposely cooked a meal favourite of my partner's as it was his birthday. Delicious, & 2nd helpings. She gave us space and company as needed.
