CasaBelle Country House — Hotel in Bellingen

My husband and I had the most wonderful stay at Casabelle Country House. When we arrived it was like being greeted by old friends as we were given a delicious afternoon tea on the patio, looking out onto the distant hills. The house was absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful gardens teeming with birds. Our room were beautifully designed with a very comfortable bed and I had one of the best night’s sleep on our 4 week trip round Australia. We both agreed that the delicious breakfast, served outside on the patio, was certainly the best we’d had since we’ve been here. Whoa this is a wonderful guest house. My only regret is I did not stay here more than one night (3 would have been good).||The hosts Suzanne and Fritz were charming (and funny) and treated you like royalty from arrival onwards. Had afternoon tea with fresh cakes on arrival and a very good breakfast the following morning.||Guest accommodation is really relaxing with a real continental style to the lounge and courtyard. Rooms were well appointed (loved the walk in shower and all the little extras).||The hosts were a pleasure to spend time with and I would love to have spent more time chatting with them. Initially hard to find because our travel agent didn’t send us the information but if you book directly they will send to you. However it’s a true oasis in the countryside. Sue and Fritz are perfect hosts and very friendly and oh so helpful and will do anything to make your stay special. Fritz has a cheeky sense of humour and my husband enjoyed the banter with him. Our room was traditional and spacious. The breakfast setting is wonderful and breakfast excellent. You definitely won’t go hungry!
