Benaraby Hilltop Motor Inn — Hotel in Benaraby

Pulled up as I was tired, was a budget style motel but was very clean and the lady who checked me in I assumed was the owner and was very friendly. Rooms very outdated but clean, thought I will stay here on the way back, until I had the worse experience have ever had at checkout. At 9.55 am the male owner knocked on the door asking when I was leaving, I have a disability on crutches and no offer to help pack but that’s ok, I said I will b 5 mins just packing cold stuff and personal stuff, then I thought I will go the toilet before I go, was in the toilet and again 5 mins later there was loud banging at the door, I’m sitting on the loo trying to yell out I’m on the toilet 😳 I opened the door and said to the housemaid how rude I was on the toilet, well she said you are supposed to be out by 10, it was 10.05 , I said this was very rude to do this to a guest and I won’t be staying here on the way back and she rudely said well we don’t want people like you back, omg all over 5 mins, sorry my bladder didn’t realise I was on a time clock. I drove away and the male owner was sweeping , I pulled up and said that was so uncalled for, thinking he would apologise and then received another rude mouth for. So all over my bladder couldn’t control its timing, they ruined what was a good stay to an absolute joke and wouldn’t recommend this place , unless you have good toilet habits 😳no need for there rude and embarrassing behaviour

Sorry I was jumping with joy apparently when checking in, I am disabled and on crutches and in a lot of pain, I was pleasant and had a chat either the lady and we talked about room service and I asked her was there a Servo close by, so that’s made up. I normally don’t write reviews especially on small business but you need to be Helan accountable for your rude behaviour and continually knocking on my door, I see you didn’t mention that and yes the housemaid was the one who said don’t come back, when I left I pulled up to the owner to explain I was in toilet and how rude his housemaid was and then he gave me a mouthful and that’s when I did day well you deserve a review. Never have experienced such stupid rudeness over been 10 mins a late checking out of the room. So if your gunna reply at least...

Staying here was a spur of the moment decision by hubby and I. We'd been up in the Kroombit tops most of the day, it was getting late and we wanted a quiet place to stay before heading home in the morning. Fortunately there was a vacancy and reception was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, with air con and a ceiling fan, microwave, jug and toaster, basic cutlery, and plates, mugs etc, water pressure in the shower was great, all we needed for the night. But what I liked most it was very clean. I'm a motel cleaner myself and I couldn't fault it and I've been a housekeeper in 4 and 5 star establishments. I've also seen some pretty awful accommodation cleanliness especially in Brisbane. This place was such a pleasant surprise.
