Would never stay here again, the new owner has taken all the colours out of the bedrooms and replaced them with just a flat sheet over the sooner instead of it being in a case, so no more romantic Queen Bedroom with matching robes, the pool area is filthy as I had to clean it up myself and received no thanks, he misses out on customers because he is at the Caltex which he and his son also owns, Bring Back the Old Owners. The Pool Gate isn’t locked properly so a child can open the gate and drown, the rooms don’t get the same body wash/ Shampoo/ Conditioner - if your staying in a deluxe suite then you get the good bathroom amenities, the laundry door is locked when the owner leaves the property and is supposed to stay open for the customers, he used me to clean a room and I waited over 7hrs to see if I had the job then when I confronted him he went all nasty and told me and my family to get out then he accused us of stealing the mini bar fridge and his miscrowave, then I had him and his son put bad comments on my Facebook business page and was getting phone calls via a private number and harassed by him swearing for 3 days. All he cares about is the money he’s getting for people staying for the Show n Shine. There is no function Room, so no meals can be eaten there, there is a bar but he is not licensed to serve alcohol. Berrigan Shire isn’t to happy with all 5he things wrong with is place, they have a kitchen but it consists of 2 Bench top deep fryers, oven and dishwasher- I told him I can cook as well as clean but he rejected the offer and lost 3 paying customers because of this, the rooms should be freshened up before the customer arrives just not when they leave. I had booked a motel room for last night (6/03/21) I wasn't able to follow through with staying there and my phone had a huge glitching meltdown so couldn't call the motel to say I wasn't staying. They had already said earlier in the night before my phone had a meltdown that I couldn't get a refund because I was trying to cancel my booking 48 hours before my booking. I had only booked the room less than 24 hours before wanting to stay there. I was told I could reschedule my booking for any other night in the next 30 days. But because I didn't contact them last night (because I couldn't) they will not move my booking to another night and have marked it as if I fulfilled my booking, so now I've lost the $140 I paid for the room and I didn't even stay in the bloody...

Everything was great except cleaning, Just imagine you are staying with very young kids at the Motel for 3 days and the very next morning when you put a tag at door to "Please make my room" and you receive a call that you have to pay extra. Upon asking why extra, the excuse is you booked cheaper, where I neither bargained for the booking nor any discount offered for the booking. Above all, the booking clearly says "cleaning charges" amount "XYZ". It was really disappointing when you have no option to buy otherwise in such a small town.
