Amazing 3 nights stay with good friends and our kids! We booked the whole house with 11 adults and 9 children, 0-4 years old. We all had such a wonderful time. The house had plenty of space with our own bedrooms and bathrooms made it a comfortable stay. The facilities included made for great value! The swim spa, fire pit, breakfast included, games room, a personal dam with canoes, yabby fishing to name a few highlights. The best inclusion is being able to feed the pony, 2x goats, Alpaca and chickens along with collecting fresh eggs to have for breakfast each day. Michael was friendly, informative and very helpful in helping us plan our stay and showing us around. Michael was there to meet us and we rarely saw him throughout the stay making it a private retreat. We will be back!

Bilpin Country Lodge is a very peaceful and serene place for all ages who wants a to get away from the busy city life. The lodge is spacious and clean! There are pony, goats, alpaca, and a bunch of chickens. My son enjoyed feeding them and picking freshly laid eggs. I highly recommend this place and will patronise here again in future!

A lovely and thoughtfully designed place with lots to do for family and kids. Animal feeding, canoeing, BBQ, campfire, basketball - never a boring moment! It has a rustic charm but is well equipped and clean. Owner is really friendly and helpful. Highly recommended :)

SO ANGRY. I booked the October long weekend for three days back in June 2017 for my family of five. I rang a couple days before we were to leave to ask if the kids can bring their bikes? Michael the owner replied he cancelled my booking because a large group made a booking instead? He said he emailed me (but really he didn't) then refunded me the money. Can't believe a business would do this to someone? Lucky for me I didn't pack, then drive all the way there to find this out. All I can say is what goes around comes around. Further more I'm sure you'll respond back saying that I fabricated this story and i'ts all my fault when all I wanted was an apology! OH OH OH what a coincidence that you were able to move the builders to another date, when you had received your group booking. I understand this is a business but your so called invisible email was never received nor sent by you, and I don't appreciate your misleading and dishonest manner in which you are approaching this situation. If we had received your email of cancellation we would not be sitting here right now. It really shows that you are a true sneaky business man that would say and do anything to keep the truth...

Five related families (10 adults and 10 children) spent Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon having a tremendous time at the lodge celebrating a 60th birthday. |Facilities are excellent (6 ensuite bedrooms) with a big, well equipped kitchen, plenty of fridge space and spacious lounge area with a very efficient wood fireplace. |Owner Mike gave us a comprehensive briefing on arrival so everything went smoothly. |We paid a quite reasonable extra fee for a 4pm checkout on the Sunday. This is highly recommended as no one wanted to leave at 10am.|The kids enjoyed feeding and patting the farm animals, collecting eggs and bushwalking. The large heated spa was a hit too. The adults just chilled out.|The Saturday market just down the road is not large, but has high quality produce and is a chance to support the locals.|Open Hearth catered for the Saturday dinner. Sensational food with comprehensive heating instructions. Enough for seconds all round for Sunday lunch. |The included cook your own breakfasts were great - cereals, bacon, eggs, sausages, pancake mix, milk, bread jams etc.|All in all a really great...

A belated review on our stay in November last year. We chose the lodge based on recommendations by ellalist. Finding the place was abit difficult as there was a name change which we were not aware of. Once we went through the main gate we arrived at a beautiful lodge. The owners were away when we were there but our room key was waiting and another hotel guest guided us through. Breakfast was provided we just had to cook the bacon and eggs, but all kitchen equipment was provided. The lodge was super clean and well kept despite being in the middle of the woods. There are plenty to do here for kids such as feeding the farm animals, canoeing, yabby catching, hiking, trampoline, playground.... Amazing. The weather was abit chilly so we did not spend alot of time outdoors apart from our self cook BBQ from supply we bought at Woolworths. The lodge is a great relaxing place with beautiful grounds... even pets are allocated a space to stay outdoors. We hope to be back to...
