My partner Rob and I stayed at this caravan park and our experience here would have been a 10 star rating but as 5 stars is the maximum, we could only give 5. We had the Glamping Tent book for 4 nights and arrived at the park a little early to check in. This is where we met the manager Andrew and he quickly explained that this wasn't a problem. He allowed us in through the gate to park our vehicle and apologised for not having the Glamping Tent quite ready. He said to have a coffee at the coffee van and he'd notify us when we could check in. Within 5 minutes he came out and told us we could check in. We both picked up on his friendly and easy going nature. The Glamping Tent was clean and comfortable and the beach frontage was stunning. As we were enjoying our stay at this park so much we decided to set up our own tent on a site for a further 4 nights. Andrew drove us around on his buggy showing us the sites available and recommending the best one for us. As Andrew and Fiona, the park managers, made us feel so at home along with the cleanliness of the amenities we decided to extend our stay another 4 nights. Due to Rob badly tearing his calf muscle we were considering moving in to a cabin. The manager, Andrew, called past to say g'day and after we explained what had happened he put a cabin on hold until we made our decision. 10 minutes later he arrived back with a set of crutches. Also assisted us in finding a physio. Andrew also offered to pick Rob up in the buggy and take him to the amenities when needed. We then decided to move into a cabin and they immediately had that ready for us. They also supplied a "State of Origin" night for all guest's to watch the game on the tv in the well equipped camp kitchen plus decorations and free sausage sizzle. Andrew and Fiona went above and beyond to make us feel welcome (all guests). After the tearing of the calf muscle injury the support and assistance from both Andrew and Fiona was outstanding. Do yourself a favor and stay at his caravan park. We cannot recommend it highly enough. Other guests we spoke to also didn't want to leave. We...

We stayed at this caravan park for a few days, and while the grounds were nice, our experience was ruined by several issues with the staff. When we first arrived, we were placed near a neighbor who watered their garden over the fence, soaking our entire tent.
The real problem started in the shared kitchen. As we carefully stored our food in a bag with our name on it. One morning, we found our bag outside the fridge after the staff had finished “cleaning.” The food was warm, and we had to throw it all away, which was quite costly for us. When we asked the staff why it was removed, they claimed not to know. We asked if they could check the cameras, as we were certain it was someone from the staff, but the lady in the office was dismissive, claiming the cameras didn’t work and insisting the staff wouldn’t do such a thing.
To make matters worse, the same neighbor watered their garden again, soaking our tent. We went to the office to ask for help, and the same rude lady was there. She was already annoyed when we approached, and when we explained the situation, she told us it wasn’t her problem and that she couldn’t speak to the neighbor because she couldn’t leave the office. There were three other staff members present, but none of them offered to help or show any concern.
Overall, the lack of customer service and the rude attitude of the staff really soured our experience. We’ve stayed at caravan parks for the past 4 months and never encountered such unfriendly staff. Very...
Read moreWhat a wonderful park. Clean, friendly and modern facilities. Such amazing staff who go out of their way to assist your stay. Grounds staff are always maintaining the area. Housekeeping are always busy making the villas hospitable. We arrived a few days after Cyclone Debbie and you would never have known by the tidy state of the park....what cyclone??
The park attracts friendly families from all walks of life (rich, poor, young, old, local and interstate/overseas) which adds to the atmosphere. Families tend to look out for each others kids so its like a free for all with children everywhere having safe fun.. They had a 6ft tall Easter Bunny being chauffeured on a golf buggy going around giving chocolate eggs to the littlies. The park was booked solid yet there was room and activities and space for everyone. Jumping castle and free BBQ on Easter Saturday. Pool is amazing -especially lit up at night. Always kept clean - zero rubbish seen ANYWHERE. Water splash area is clean modern and runs well. Camp Kitchen/BBQ areas are modern and kept spotless despite nightly BBQs from families. No bad vibes from staff or guests, a 30 second walk to the amazing beach. Lots of sand crabs to see as the tide changes. Have never felt so relaxed. Free Wifi, FOXTEL, afternoon breezes. Will...
