Admittedly Redrock on Booie wasn’t my first choice for our getaway (purely based on my knowledge of other properties in the area), but it far exceeded my expectations. The property is well presented and is secluded and tucked away, positioned in a gorgeous bush setting, meaning it’s utterly peaceful and tranquil. |The cabin itself was clean, comfortable and well appointed, with everything you need, even a fireplace. |We stayed for two nights and received a breakfast pack, bottle of local wine and cheese platter included in our stay and all of it was delicious. |I feel torn in a way writing this review, our stay was so perfectly relaxing, I feel like I’m revealing a secret I want to keep to myself, but it was too good not to share. |Check in and check out was seamless, and we truly felt like we were on our own in the middle of the bush. |The owners were lovely to deal with and even spoilt us with a box of chocolates, as we were staying here as an early wedding anniversary getaway. |I’d highly recommend Redrock on Booie if you’re looking for a...

Redrock Retreat was perfect for our needs. Everything we needed was supplied; Our gluten intolerant friend in cabin 2 was very pleased with the gluten free option provided for breakfast.
The cabins were very comfortable; reverse cycle airconditioning kept us warm and the fire we had on the last night was spot on. We managed to sight the koala on one morning walk and then a kangaroo and wallaby the next morning.
The location was good and the roads around were good for walking. For someone wanting to have somewhere to stay while exploring the South Burnett region, we would strongly recommend Redrock Retreat. It was easy to find following the instructions provided and is well placed for heading north to Goomeri and south to Kingaroy and Nanango. We were exploring the wineries and Redrock Retreat met our needs for somewhere convenient to stay.
Keep up the good work. Sorry, but not sure we can offer any suggestions for...
Read moreWe spent three wonderful nights in one of the two beautiful cottages at Redrock and from the moment we arrived it had a peaceful calming effect.||The cottage is tastfully fitted out, Neal and Jan have equipped it with everything you could possibly need and the furnishings are of the highest standard.||We booked for 3 nights which included complimentary cheese and wine plus a fridge stocked with bacon, eggs, milk, butter, jams, bread etc ... more than enough to cover the largest of appetites.||For the cold nights in the bush there is also a log fire with plenty of fuel stacked outside.||We also purchased the BBQ pack which comes from the local butcher in Kingaroy, again good value for money, great steaks, sausages, rissoles and perfect for the BBQ on the deck outside,||The cottages are 10 minutes from the lovely town of Kingaroy and easy driving to all the local...
