Billabong B&B is charmed with bushland beauty - situated in Boolambayte, near the Great Lakes, and the relaxed water and beach areas of Smiths Lake and Seal Rocks. But stepping into the B&B one almost wants to forget going anywhere. This is because of the owner, Cath's friendly and welcoming manner. She is a true B&B host but also committed to sustainability - as the comforting treats of local and organic produce which are freely given (eggs for brekkie) and also for sale (local wines, honey and jam) show. Cath and Brenda were wonderful, friendly and obliging for our one night stay. |Bedroom was spacious with a great little balcony off the side.|Bathroom was spacious and modern. |We decided to take Cath up on her offer of dining with them that evening. Beautiful meal of fish curry and vegetarian dishes. Neither my wife or I are vegetarian but these dishes were excellent. Such a welcoming comfortable stay for a night or longer. It’s very easy to access from pacific highway near Bulahdelah ||The rooms exceptionally comfortable and country cottage styled. The owners have a well stocked pantry for breakfasts, coffee and full range of toiletries provided in room.
