The Bremer Bay Resort Bistro offers a convenient spot for visitors looking to enjoy a meal and a drink in this scenic coastal town. The menu features standard pub fare, with familiar favorites like burgers, fish and chips, and steaks. While there’s nothing particularly groundbreaking on the menu, the meals are decent and filling, offering what you might expect from a traditional pub kitchen. However, some patrons may find the prices a bit high for the quality and variety of food on offer. Given the simplicity of the dishes, it can feel a little steep for what you get, especially if you’re accustomed to more robust options in larger towns or cities.

For drinks, the bistro sticks with a standard beer selection, with a few go-to brands you’d expect to find at most pubs. There’s little in the way of craft or specialty options, which might be disappointing for those hoping to try something unique. Still, it pairs well enough with the food, and if you’re just after a casual beer with your meal, it does the job.

The atmosphere of the bistro is casual, and the staff are friendly enough to make you feel comfortable, although there’s nothing particularly memorable about the service. The staff get the basics right, keeping things moving along without much fuss. Overall, the Bremer Bay Resort Bistro serves its purpose as a straightforward dining option in a small, picturesque town. If you’re in the area, it’s a convenient choice for a meal, but keep your expectations in line with the relaxed, no-frills approach this...

I stayed in room 20. For the price, the room was just too rustic. I tried to find an alternative place to stay once I arrived and saw the state of the room, but there was nothing available in the area at 8pm. The room felt dirty and the bathroom was actually dirty. After I resigned that I was staying, I eliminated a few insects and I checked the bed, which was clean. The reason I gave the room 2 stars is because the bed was actually clean and comfortable, otherwise the room would have gotten 1 star. The room gave me a feeling of a pay-by-the-hour motel, not a resort. The kettle was filled with old dirty water and I tried cleaning it but couldn't get the scale other stuff out of there. I just don't like chunks in my coffee. The bathroom was dirty and I felt like I should be wearing shoes in the shower to avoid getting something on my feet. The wifi didn't work from my room, it only worked if I walked toward the restaurant. From the room I just got a weak signal (see picture) that kept disconnecting. If I had paid $30 for the night, I wouldn't have been so disappointed. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try the food because I arrived at 8:05pm and the kitchen closed at 8. I also couldn't stay for breakfast because their kitchen opens at 7:30am and the whale watch tour I booked asked me to...

We just had a three night stay at the Bremer bay Resort. The resort is now about 30 years old and maybe in need of some updates, but the room was clean and well serviced and organised. The staff in the reception ( the manager/owner who I can’t remember her name) and Veronica were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. Taking the time to tell us everything about the resort and Bremer Bay and making us feel so welcome. The meals we had at the restaurant were of really high quality which included a great menu for breakfast and dinner. ( we didn’t need lunch after a big breakfast) Obviously the place to eat, as the restaurant was very busy at all meal times. We had to leave a day early and the manager was more than happy to refund us with a nights accomodation minus a booking fee provided they could rebook the room, which was done. I couldn’t find a fault with the resort or the staff, not that I was looking for one!!! Would certainly recommend staying there, as long as you don’t expect the 5 star resort as of other holiday places. Bremer bay is a great place to visit, slow and relaxed, lots of walking and easy bike riding without too much traffic. Lots of paths and tracks and great beaches and fishing areas. We’ll certainly be back and recommend Bremer bay and the resort for a great...

Great location, rooms very clean. Rooms are spacious as is the bathroom. Mini fridge is a great size for a few nights stay. Power points are near the bed which is fantastic. As well other power points perfectly located around the room for laptop, camera charging etc. The A/C worked wonderfully, filters were clean & temp was easily changed to accommodate my needs. Staff helpful with locations of places to see, nothing was pushed not even the restaurant. The lovely coffee table & chairs outside the room nice touch to sit & reflect after a day out whale watching. The other guests are all very friendly too. Just adds to the feeling of community of this great town. Such a relaxed atmosphere from the staff & town, considering they had storms & bush fires happening the day I arrived. So glad I booked to stay here again in coming weeks. The bathroom sink is only place to fill kettle - just use a mug to pour the water into kettle :)
