This is a really beautiful place to spend a special time with family or friends. It is immaculately furnished with tasteful attention to every detail. The spacious lounge area, with long dining table, enabled individual relaxation activities for everyone. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything imaginable. We also loved the outside deck areas on both sides of the house where we were able to set up our paints and stir up some creative juices. As elderly couples, we did not venture up the fairly steep stairs to the upper bedroom area but that would be perfect for large families. We would love to return to this perfect place of peace and tranquility. We also enjoyed a memorable night dining at Morgan's which was only 5 mins away. The location and countryside was breathtaking. You couldn’t possibly find a more gorgeous property in the Hunter Valley. Stunning looks where stone meets timber and slate… spacious with several bedrooms and yet a beautiful Center living room made only picture perfect with a fire pit. We also used the outdoors to play some games and run around with the kids while enjoying our welcome wine provided by Bonn Abbey. Kids kept asking to go back home bc that is how it felt to them. Bathrooms were equipped with large bathtubs that completed the getaway. Coffee capsules and tea assortments were a nice touch to get us through the morning.

Bonn Abbey is such a beautiful property in a quaint little town in the Hunter Valley. It’s location was perfect for my friends and I to explore so many wineries in the area, and even managed to squeeze in a hot air balloon experience! The Abbey itself is stunning, with high ceilings, 2 beautiful bathrooms with tubs and really comfy beds. The loft bedrooms were a real highlight of the property for me, as was the glorious fireplace, made even better with a wine in hand. My friends and I are already looking at booking our next stay at Bonn Abbey, it is truly a wonderful place to stay and we cannot...
