We spent two nights in this place and were very disappointed with the standard of accommodation. Here's a list of all the things wrong with the unit that we noted at the time: All kitchen utensils we used needed cleaning before use. Dried food needed to be scraped off the elements of the stove top before use. A dirty knife was found at the back of one of the shelves in the refrigerator. There was no working outside lighting on the balcony or stairs. The ceiling light covers looked as if they had never been cleaned and were full of insects. Kitchen pans needed a proper scouring before use and the handles were nearly falling off. The one bedside lamp had no globe in it and, anyway, the nearest power point couldn't be reached by the extension cord provided. Ditto clock radio. The heavy sliding door to the bathroom had come off its tracks and been left in that condition. The bbq facilities listed on the units' website did not exist. The base of the sofa in the 'living room' had collapsed and two large pillows had been left to compensate. The top of the kitchen table was sticky with aged varnish and the tenon joints of some of the accompanying straight backed chairs were floating free and had to be pushed in. The piece de resistance however was a six metre by three metre mural in the living room that featured garishly painted giant lobsters that produced a feeling of biliousness any time you had the misfortune to glance at it....

Wasn't sure what to expect, but we were so happy as soon as we opened the door. Three bedrooms, one with two sets of bunks, full sized kitchen, dining area, lounge, enormous rear gated area and a fantastic front balcony with BBQ, best views and a shelf all around for placing drinks and snacks. The place is really nicely renovated and the kitchen has everything you would need if you're there with a bunch of friends or kids. Just like home. I would definitely bring the husband and kids here for a holiday. Beds are comfy, the place is spotless. Big TV in the main living area. Coat hangers in the bedrooms. Lovely Sheridan towels. Downstairs is the cafe, and among other things has ready cooked meals as well as Byron Bay pizza that you can cook quickly in the oven, plus an enormous range of everything else you would need - including a bottle shop - and it's only a short stroll across the road to the beach. I highly recommend this place. The people who run it are extremely...

All cooking equipment was supplied. Nice that there was a vacant block behind with a constant show of birds. The taps over the kitchen and bathroom sink were the type that you had to keep turned or they would shut off the water. You could hear the banging of these through the pipe work from the other apartments at times. Annoying but I can understand the need to save water, possibly they have had an issue with some people in the past. A car space for each apartment with all but 3 not under cover. Staff in the store friendly. Short walk across the road to the beach. Couldn’t see the ocean from our apartment being...
