This place was very dated & the parking for vans was uneven & even though we had our own levellers, we had to find rocks nearby to boost the support legs (see attached photo). Whilst there was free wi-fi, it would connect but would not link to the internet. It was not within walking distance of the CBD. This place needs a makeover. The caretaker was very friendly though.

Has a hot swimming pool great area for your caravan or tent. 2 lots of bathrooms area's, shower and toilet together. Great spot to see the sea.

Fantastic! Highly recommended. We have stayed there before and Stephen & Shari are great hosts and have a lot of experience in the hospitality industry. There is multi types of accommodation to suit, from hotel rooms with water view and park view rooms. To Caravan & Camping. There is an excellent indoor pool. A great location, just out of the city of Burnie. Public Transport out the front too. Opposite a beautiful beach. With a park almost next door. This accommodation is family friendly and dog friendly, the kids seem to love it. It is reasonably priced too. There are the little penguins that come in at night, literally across the road from the accommodation or you can go into Burnie to see the safety enclosures they have set up to protect the penguins & viewing platforms.

I have stayed at this accommodation before with my dog & family. We have stayed in the lovely water view rooms, this time we had two rooms next to each other - with the park view and it was very handy. My dog loves our hosts, especially Shari. Thanks Shari & Stephen, we look forward to staying with you again. Yuki says...

Stayed 2 nights on a powered caravan site. There are some things worth noting before you stay here. Manager Stefan seemed affable enough. Pets are welcome, on lead etc. Pricing is good at $40 for power + water and less for concessions. There are no free camps in the area that allow dogs. The location of the park is easy to access off the Bass Highway, but forget the “Ocean View” in the name. There is none. The park is within easy access to Burnie by vehicle. The park is serviced by a quite narrow ring road, so backing in is a bit of a trick. Some sites are drive-through but they fill quickly. Most van sites are not level, so bring extra plates for the jockey wheel and one leg. The amenities are old and a little shabby, but very clean. (I heard it is a new management, so this may change.). We decided to move along to an off—grid campsite after our business in...

My Partner and I stayed here on two occasions the first time we were in a campervan when we cam over to Tasmania for a scouting trip. The second time was when we came over to look for a house. This time we stayed in a cabin. The cabin was clean and well maintained, although in needed of a bit of TLC it suited as perfectly and we were charged a reasonable price for a week. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and went out of their way to help us with a variety of things to name just a few printing documents and receiving mail when we needed it. To our surprise we even got a service clean once a week even though we stayed for 2+ months. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a short or long stay. Thank you...
