So grateful for Helen and Johnny for last minute hosting me and family. They were so kind and helpful we had the best stay on the property and exploring the surrounding areas on their advice. If possible would be back every year!

We had a wonderful time at the Castle Rock Farm. The biggest reason to stay here are the kind hosts, John & Helen. They have so much passion for this beautiful place, can tell you a lot about it and are just wonderful people.||||We stayed two nights on the Glamping deck, sleeping in one of the typical Australian ‘swags’. They were super comfortable and so was the usage of the bathroom. With the outdoor shower you really can’t help but feel one with nature! At this time we we’re the only ones on the deck which gave us some extra privacy, but we really appreciate the set up which makes it also ideal to meet people if you’d want. We used the common kitchen which is shared with the studio, and had a nice chat with the family staying there. We really loved that you have both the option to socialize or to enjoy the area in solitude if you want.||||Besides, the Byfield area is just stunning. We have a 2wd so we didn’t get to visit the famous beach, but even without that there is so much to see. Especially Stoney Creek was one of our favorites. ||||All in all we really recommend this place to stay and visit Byfield from. We had a peek into the chalet and studio and they are absolutely stunning, but if you’re alone of with two, the Glamping deck is a super nice experience and we highly...

Helen and John will make you feel at home away from home. Cant go wrong with this place for a overnighter or a week long get away. The hospitality we received was second to none. The grounds are kept neat and tidy with wood supplied free of charge for the outside camp fire. Beautiful rainforest with an abundance of wild life. The kids had fun cracking coconuts and stoking the fire. There's plenty of space for kids to ride around on bikes if we had them with us. Walking through their many fruit and avo trees had to do this time around. 30min easy cruise to Yeppoon for shops or 2min drive down the road to a great cafe that does breakfast/ lunch and...
