Byron Lakeside Holiday Apartments — Hotel in Byron Bay

Booked two apartments that totalled a $3000+ stay. Called to reschedule and was told they would call us back. Didn’t hear anything for 24hrs before being told (in an email not even a call) that all accomodation for our dates that we needed to reschedule to was booked out between the time we called and the time they emailed us a response, apparently as they “were not in the office for a few hours”. (Demand due to a festival being rescheduled so lots of people took advantage of booking the new dates). Then after them being extremely unhelpful we were finally told we could have another date booked (strict time frame of after July but before October???) or we would just have to lose our $1000 that we had paid. Finally telling us after more emails backwards and forwards that they would refund the amount of one of the apartments we had booked. Terrible service, putting new bookings over customers who had already booked, as they only care about...

We enjoyed our stay at the Lakeside Holiday Apartments so much on our travels up the coast in 2020 we return this year, 4 years later. Such helpful owners from our initial messages to Wayne to our final goodbye. ... agree, nothing was too much trouble , they went above and beyond and made us and our 4 children feel very welcome . The grounds are well looked after and the major draw card for us was the gorgeous the pool , the BBQ area and the chilled vibe. The Roadhouse Cafe next door was an added bonus with exceptional service. Will definitely stay again in the future, I wish we could come back already!

We enjoyed our stay at the Lakeside Holiday Apartments so much on our travels up the coast, we stayed for an additional 5 nights and extended our stay for a 6th on our way back down.From our initial email to Wayne to our final goodbye to Sam ... nothing was too much trouble , they went above and beyond and made us and our 3 children feel very welcome . They both along with Sam's son keep the grounds exceptionally well and we loved the pool , the BBQ area and loved the relaxed atmosphere. The Roadhouse Cafe next door was an added bonus . Will definitely stay again in the future. Thanks guys .... it was the personal touches that will bring us back ... keep up the hard work.
