My wife and I stayed at Ketchup's over the 1st, 2nd, 3rd March 21. The property is around 30k east of Boonah, the road following a ridge with stunning views particularly to the south back to the border ranges. On arrival we were met by Alex who quickly settled us into the Ironbark Eco-tent. It proved to be very comfortable and spacious. The en suite is roomy and a delight. The tent is fully equipped with a fridge, coffee and tea, cups, wine glasses, even marshmallow for camp fire roasting etc. The double bed is very comfortable. The kitchen is separate to the tent and is fully equipped with everything you need right down to fire lighters for the camp fire. Excellent BBQ. Firewood is supplied. Alex and Anna even supply ingredients to make a damper - two sizes of camp ovens are supplied as well. The first night we had the "Big Board" a presentation of cashews, smoked almonds, fetta, olives, sun-dried tomatoes and an array of smoked sausage. Very nice and more than enough for two. The hampers - three breakfast and two dinner are a surprise and proved to be tasteful. Bacon and eggs, toast, jam, fruits on two mornings and the best ever local granola, yogurts, sourdough and a variety of fruits on the third morning. Make your own coffee/tea. 2 litre OJ in the fridge. Dinner one night was fillet steak the next was sensational lamb cutlets. We really enjoyed the hampers put together by Anna and Alex. The most interesting piece of equipment is the "Dishwasher". A plastic tote box in which you place everything used for breakfast and dinner and it mysteriously disappears. No washing up!!! It is very quiet day and night. We had some light rain which gave rise to a magical view of the valley and forest. Anna and Alex have to be congratulated for their thought and organisation of the facility. They have covered everything right down to umbrellas, bath gowns. You just need to turn up with your favorite beverages and a few nibbles.Their website is exceptional, as is the information package about the property and the Boonah surrounds and things to do.By the way, they are two of the nicest people you wish to meet. As an aside, although the Eco-tents are comfortable and well equipped, Anna and Alex have a new "Tiny House" placed a ridge line away from the tents. The views are breathtaking from the sitting area/fire pit overlooking the valley. sun rises would be sensational. A combustion fireplace is also provided in the Tiny House as well as a glass ceiling above the bed to take in the stars. The stars out there are magic. Totally private and quiet. A great alternative to the Eco-tents to think about. A truly unique experience. We are looking forward to a return visit. Thanks to Anna and Alex for such a wonderful three nights.
A fire pit is provided as well as a timber fire as and I would say sun...
Read moreOur stay at Baya by Ketchup's Bank was amazing. A beautifully located tiny house that is completely private except for a few cows grazing in the next paddock. The internal fireplace kept us toasty warm while we relaxed and gazed out at the beautiful view through the huge window. We enjoyed a few wines and some cheese on the deck and watched the amazing sunset and listened to the birds. Stargazing with a hot cuppa on the hammock is not to be missed! You don't need to get out of bed to watch the sunrise, just roll up the blind. A few things to note - there is no microwave or oven because of the size of the tiny house so keep your meals simple. We pre-downloaded videos on netflix and disney+ and hooked up to the tv as the internet from our phone provider was patchy. The shower had instant hot water but because of the rain shower head if you don't like getting your hair wet, pack a shower cap. The road out to Ketchup's is a mix of bitumen and dirt. Take it slow and you'll be fine. Alex and Anna sent us an email with detailed instructions on how to get to Ketchup's before our arrival and we were grateful for this and had no trouble finding Baya. Absolutely recommend this tiny house accommodation. It is just so damn cute!

Read moreBeautiful place, perfect getaway when you want some peace and quiet from the city. On the way in, the last 5km stretch has patches of dirt roads and lots of wildlife - be careful and conscious when driving.
Host was friendly, very helpful, and lives on-site. WiFi is provided on the premise so if you drop out of signal, you can still make contact with the outside world.
The glamping site has a nice outdoor seating area with a fully equipped BBQ, a sink and all the utensils you need. You can pre-order food platters in advance, but otherwise bring all the food and drink you need for your stay - as it's a little drive away from the last town.
The "Tent" was wonderful: comfy bed, a fridge, a small TV/DVD player, with tea and coffee and food for the wildlife! Bathroom was nice and clean, with soap and shampoo/conditioner all provided. Will...
